I should be sleeping.
Instead I'm browsing on amino and writing this blog.
But boy do I love Professor Layton and it's music, which is also perfect for studying.

You might know the puzzle solving Brit, made by the Japanese company Level-5. Along with his apprentice Luke Triton, Hershel Layton finds himself in some weird situations, ranging from vampires to time travelling.

First off I want to say that I highly recommend the games. You'll find yourself busy with hundreds of puzzles and the stories never failed to make me cry.
But, even though I would love to make a full blog on why everyone should play these games, I'm going to talk about the music.
Tomohito Nishihura is the head composer of the music of the Professor Layton games, and he has created some masterpieces. I often put up an extended version of a soundtrack or put it on repeat in the background as I go study.
Below I'll list some of my favourite, obviously with links.

As the name says, this piece is sad. I've cried over this probably multiple times, but it's very relaxing with the music box playing in the background.
Ah, the beautiful city of Folsense. This piece is somewhat mysterious. Somehow makes me want to get a cup of tea.
This is a more... let's go with epic theme. It gets obvious when you know when in the game it plays. Tip: put it on 1.25x speed, in my opinion it makes it even greater.
A higher pitched one(?). Calming and gives off a vibe like there's something mysterious going on.
Descole just screams epic. I love this man and you can't convince me otherwise (no I haven't played The Azran Legacy. Yet. I'm getting it soon). Play this theme when you want to kick ass. Or your homework.
This is a track of the movie, Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, which is also awesome, so if you have time you should definitely check it out. The vocals make this theme amazing.

These are just some of the amazing tracks that keep my mind focused.
SinnerFalcon on YouTube has every track of the first four games ed, including the live versions of some. These live versions are played by the Level-5 orchestra.
Sora Edelstein, also on Youtube, has extended versions of the tracks of the first four games and she's ing the fifth game's tracks.

I can’t express enough how beautiful these tracks are. They have the perfect atmosphere for studying and I'm sure there is something you'll like.
And , every puzzle has an answer. And so does your homework. Or whatever you're struggling with.
' A true gentleman leaves no puzzle unsolved '
