:herb: It’s almost the end of my summer break. I’ve actually been finished with my first year of university for a couple of months but it’s only now that I’m getting around to updating here :’)

:herb: This post is about my grades. I want to preface this by saying that grades really don’t define you. I think I’ve always attached my self-worth a little too much to grades but to be honest, 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘧𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨).

:herb: I actually didn’t keep great track of my study hours this semester :’|

:herb: I was using a bullet journal to write down my accomplishments each day, which is where I kept track of my study hours. To be honest, I think I like this method more than trying to track every. single. minute.

:herb: At the end of the day I am at university to learn something I’m ionate about. The number of hours we study isn’t a reflection of how much we know or how well we know it ^^

:herb: I have to say, it was quite difficult trying to study at home. The internet wasn’t the best and some of the teaching went way down in quality. Particularly for Linear Algebra - our prof basically stopped teaching altogether T.T

:herb: Understandably it was a bit strange for everyone. Still I think I came out with good results! I can be proud to keep my GPA above 4 (my university does ours out of 4.2) and look forward to next year. I am already doing my best to prepare ^^

:herb: How is everyone’s university or school planning on teaching next year? How have you all found remote learning?

Thanks for reading everyone! Take care and stay safe :relaxed: :relaxed:
