Ever since I started history in Year 9, I fell in love with it, to an extent that i chose it for my iGCSEs as well as being my favorite subject. So I've decided to share my love and appreciation for history with the chance this challenge gives me.

Ever since I started history last year, it just clicked. While everyone was struggling to see how events correlated to one another, it just all clicked in my head. It quickly became one of my favorite subjects considering the interest I had and still have for the subject.

History is literally the story of the world, and just like books, it can take you anywhere (I mean seriously, it has the word 'story' in it for a reason right?). One little thing could have altered everything, and yet, here we are in the present. The interest I have with history is how everything wraps together to form the present.

It's helped me understand the world better, in the sense that bad stuff will happen, but so will great things. Helped me not to give up hope when I need it, since so many people in history could have given up but they didn't, and therefore they did great things.
