Hungarian is a Finno-Urgic language,  

making it one of the most unique on

the continent of Europe. Other than Hungary, it's spoken in Romania,

Ukraine, Slovakia, and others.

There are over 13 million speakers.

The Hungarian alphabet contains 44 letters, using and prioritizing those of Latin origin. There are 14 vowels; the short are a, e, i, o, ö, u, and ü while those that are long contain á, é, í, ó, ő, ú and ű. This would leave 30 consonants, which really isn't that bad compared with other languages.

HungarianProject - make sure to go to the playlists first and foremost as there are some unnecessary videos that aren't about Hungarian; other than that, it's great for getting in depth with the language, talks about grammar and uses some humor

egyszervolt.hu - great for those more advanced, it's a website made for children completely in Hungarian that has various games, folk tales and music
