Quick Backstory

As tarot can be a bit of a taboo subject, I

keep it secretive to lots of people in my life

because I either don’t know how they’ll react

or because I know they just WON’T take it

well whatsoever. Because I keep it secret,

only two of my friends know that I read, and

I occasionally have done readings for them.

A few days ago, one of these friends

requested a reading and I promised him one.

I just needed to “reconnect” with my cards

before I did because they’ve been pretty

quiet. When I was done shuffling, I started

putting my cards in order for the hell of it

and noticed that my Queen of Cups was

missing. I decided to not cry over spilled

milk and took it as a message and just

continued to order my cards, keeping in

mind to keep an eye out for this card in case

she fell anywhere. Well, today I got around

to that friend’s reading and I decided to

reorder my cards once again, separating

them into piles so I could put them in order.

As I was ordering my cups pile, I had picked

up my Knight of Cups card when my fingers

slipped (kind of in the same motion you

would do to snap your fingers) and BOOM

there was my Queen of Cups card, stuck

right behind him! I took that as a sign, and

here’s how I’m interpreting the cards:

Knight of Cups Meaning

”Charmer, seducer, lover. You may receive a

romantic inquiry from a person of interest!

The Knight of Cups is very in tune with his

intuition and not afraid of a deep

Queen of Cups Meaning

Messages

1. Something is getting “unstuck” between

my Knight of Cups and I. I think the cards

are telling me to release my attachments to

him (which I certainly need to do as I’ve

been super emotional lately because I miss

him) and in turn something great will come

forward “in the name of love” whether it be

him or someone/thing new.

2. Another interpretation I had was that my

feelings towards my Knight of Cups could be

overshadowing my abilities (creative wise)

and I am finally releasing that shadow.

Applying it to Creativity

I like to think I’m a rather creative person,

though I do have my “droughts” if that

makes sense. My work schedule isn’t as

hectic for the time being, and I’ve been able

to write more (through roleplaying :sweat_smile: ) which

is something I haven’t been consistent at for

a LONG time. So I’ve definitely been feeling

more creative and inspired lately. To apply it

to my messages, I’ve been working on a

“book” for my Knight of Cups for his

birthday (which is in December—he’s a

Capricorn). One evening he and I were

talking and I asked him what were some little

things I did that I didn’t know/notice I did. He

said I’m actually a difficult book to read, so it

was hard for him to tell how I think/feel

sometimes, so throughout the last few

months I’ve been decorating and writing my

feelings into a book (for a “now I’m an open

book” metaphor :wink: ) the book has pictures

of us, my thoughts/feelings, dreams etc.,

just trying to show him that I’m not as stoic

and hard to read as he may initially

perceived. I won’t show the contents within

the book since it’s personal, but I will show

you the covers! Black and red are his

favorite colors, and he plays several

instruments (guitar being his favorite).
