If you are only interested in learning the most important components of a blog post, feel free to only read this section and skip the rest.

Titles are simple and self-explanatory. Tap next to where it says “Title” and type the title you want to use. Removing it is as easy as highlighting everything and selecting the backspace/delete button or just tapping the backspace/delete button once to delete one character.

Here you would add and remove text the same way as you would in a title. However, there are other kinds of formatting you can add to make your posts more interesting but more importantly, easier for your viewers to read. If they cannot read your content, will be less likely to read it. Too little formatting can make everything blend together but too much makes the text impossible to read. Try to stick with formatting as headings, subtitles, and brief ages (1-3 sentences) for emphasis and avoid using it with main text unless absolutely necessary. The only formatting I recommend for the body text of your blog is none, italics, centered text, or both of the last two.

Underlining has history as an alternative option to italics, underlines for written text and italics for typewritten text. Although they may ultimately fulfill the same purpose, more than 1-3 lines of underlined text can be difficult to read, especially with italics. Bold and italics or bold and underline also work out well for headings. Strikethrough is best used for crossing out items on a list or for marking spoilers. Avoiding redundancy in your formatting will make your posts easier for you to edit.

Submitting a blog is 80% of your work as a blogger. No one else can see your hard work if you don’t submit it. Thankfully, the submit button is easy to find in small boldface white text at the top right corner of your screen.

So you want to delete one of your drafts or posts? The reasons why are many and therefore are not worth getting into for this wiki entry so let’s just move on.

For an already published blog post, you will want to go to the blog page and select “•••”, the ellipsis or three dots in a row at the upper right corner of your screen. Then, select Delete.

Deleting a saved draft is more streamlined. Tap on the make-a-blog icon from the main menu for posting (first image of the wiki entry). Next, move your finger to the far right side of the draft you want to delete. Slowly drag it across the screen in a straight line from right to left.

To save a blog post, all you need to do is select the ✘ button at the top left corner of your screen, but this will only work for blog posts that already have content. This will not work for empty posts of any kind and it will not work for chatroom descriptions.

Your draft should be saved now. Select the last button on the lowest row in the main menu; all your saved drafts will be located adjacent to the Blog button on the right.

If you want to edit an already published post, select the three dots “•••” wherever it is located for you. Expect it to bring up this menu:

Select Edit. You can now edit an already published blog.
