Honestly, practice your color theory for cymk and rgb then also make sure your mood boards have the colors yellow, cyan, blue, red, green, magenta. I’d say when making psd’s try to figure what works for you adjustment layers wise as everyone have their own that works best for them but you’ll notice as you practice more! Um, for soft psd’s use gradient map (black and white) on reverse and “normal or through” in blending mode change it to “soft light” for dark psd’s use blank and white, photo filter, brightness and contrast, exposure etc. for the actual colors and base of psd’s use selective color, hue and saturation (immediately get you two colors), color balance (warm or cool tones to psd’s) and channel mixer is great for reds, greens and blue’s.
