A Phoenix | :heart: ‍ :fire:

*Today, I introduce Spotlight! Not as in myself (content creator) but as in the new human persona, face of my , character Spotlight! (They're like... my minecraft skin or a v-tuber's avatar.)

*Spotlight is going to be used a lot more often hopefully. I plan to make my profile under the new aesthetic soon enough too :3

*Spotlight was inspired by both my current persona N, as well as The Arcana. The Arcana is a interactive romance/story app that has no need to be as interesting as it is... that being said, Spotlight was designed with that universe in mind, with a slight modern twist.

*They've got piercings, fancy magic/dyed hair, and some elf ears for added magical flair. They're a shape-shifter too, but unlike N, they only use that power to change between looking more feminine or masculine. Most of the time it's subconsciously as well.

*For anyone who might know the game: I started with Lucio's route with no context beyond the intro. I got both his reversed and upright endings. Then just recently I finished off Julian's story. I finished all the character's upright endings, and now I'm on the quest to unlock extras. As of this moment, Asra is my favorite, but that's followed closely by Muriel/Julian, then Lucio, then Nadia/Portia. If u know what I'm talkin about, drop a comment about who your favorite was perhaps? :eyes:

*Point is, Spotlight is a little strange, but overall they just wanna do magic and make their potions!

*Spot usually prefers they/them or he/him pronouns, but accepts any of them. They didn't have a gender to start since they're really some mutated human, so they just go as they feel.

*As this is an Undertale AU community, I can explain exactly where they fit into the mix. N is my persona, but exists as a proper entity in Goldverse. She sees Spotlight as a little sibling, and takes full advantage of it. They exist on different planes, but she's happy to drag Spotlight into her chaos.

*Spotlight would as a Human in game standards. Their soul would be Bravery+Perseverance, and they'd likely have been one of the humans to fall before Frisk. Spot would've totally escaped though. They'd leave behind the "Healing Potion" and "Fire/Water/Ice Potion" throughout the game. The Healing potion would probably make a remark about how it wasn't actually magic, just some old kool-ade for kool kids. Then the other three would be weapons that would add slightly extra amounts of damage to your attacks, and change the temperature depending on which one. (The fire Potion would delay Undyne in the chase scene for example)

*Their familiar would be a monster who would've helped them escape the Underground, and anything else is self-explanatory.

*Side Note: Spotlight is a hopeless romantic. They probably would've flirted with Papyrus, Nice-Cream Guy, the Shop Bunny, Undyne, MTT, Blooky, Muffett, and likely Asgore too. Tho, they'd probably hang around at Grillby's the most. They've got a fascination with fire after all :3 (They are a respectful flirt, not a toxic lil gremlin-)

*Since Spot's an entity from another world, only bits of this lil variation are official.

*An Alternative design -> The Phoenix from The Masquerade.

*Spotlight has an important connection to the masquerade, and the Phoenix. They seem to come back from even the hardest challenges, and even defy death sometimes. This being said, in The Arcana there is a masquerade where the characters get super fun new outfits, and the mc gets one too, though it's never shown. So, Spot's is this ^ heavily inspired by a phoenix, with a winged cape that connects to their wrists and a fun crop-top. See-through fabric has they top half covered too.

*They're no doubt always standing out with this outfit, but they feel the most mobile and comfortable in it than any other fancy outfit they'd worn.

*It's not shown, but the top has a low back to it. So, through the see-through fabric, a large scar can be seen on Spotlight's back and across their shoulders. Usually it's just barely visible with their normal outfit, but this one shows it fully. They don't what it's from, but they're almost sure it was a bear attack from their childhood.

*Spotlight exists on the same plane as Gold and Dallas atm. I don't quite have a place for either of them, but I adore their designs and keep coming back to draw them again and again. Comfort characters, mascots, parts of my personality, whatever ya call 'em.

*I just really wanted to introduce this new character and explain the possible sudden shift in my entire vibe here on my profile :D
