:new_moon: ...Fading... :new_moon: Chara Poem☆

Sup y'all beans, it'sa meh Lily, and I have finally managed to write something I'm proud of yeey. This time I have written a Chara poem, inspired by an artwork I made recently! I was gonna use that art for the cover but I decided not to. Not gonna tell you why.

Let's just get to my piece of writing!

Tiny flowers, they're choking me

I feel myself fade from reality

Was this the right choice to make?

Or have we made one big mistake?

I'm holding on to this tiny spark

It's slowly dying in the dark

I am fading, slowly fading

For the end I am waiting

:blossom:

Their crying breaks my heart

I wanna go back to the start

Playing in the garden, enjoying pie

How can I leave that behind?

This is where I feel at home

Here, I am never alone

I've been happier than ever before

I couldn't ask for more

But seeing them feeling trapped and sad

I couldn't get it outta my head

Azzy, this has to change right now

And I already know how

That crazy plan got me here

Soon enough I'll disappear

Your freedom is worth this sacrifice

Slowly fading are the cries

Drifting away

I hear it calling me

I can't stay

This is meant to be

It's fading, the pain

As I smile at my family

I did what I had to do

The poem is basically Chara'a thoughts in the final moments of their life, rethinking why they actually did what they did, and at the end, accepting that this had to be done. They don't want to die but also know that there is no escape anymore.
