My mom and I have always been beaten up by my drunken father, and our family is unstable and full of neglect. He always tells me that I'm a mistake and the number one reason why this family have been a huge mess, then he'd usually hit me and mum with a horse whip, or anything his hand gets on, whenever it's a plate, chair or anything that'll harm us. We live in a small village and my neighbors are scared of my father that they didn't dare give us a small help nor pity just for once. He's hot tempered, violent and cruel towards everyone. My mum can't do anything about it. He may hit her but she's just too stupidly inlove for this guy. I never wished to be born nor be born in this toxic neglectful family.

I was often bullied, since ever I enrolled to elementary all the way to middle school. I can't do anything about it, nobody wanted to be my friend. I feel such a outcast, and it's the only school in town. Sometimes, no, usually, or oftentimes I get the urge just to choke one of them to death. Although, I cannot do that. The last time I ever did something "bad" towards someone who's been bullying me for a while led me to principal's office, I almost got expelled but my mother begged them to let me stay, and gave me a last chance. Not only because of my scars and bruises getting mocked by everyone, but most of them makes it bigger by beating me in back of the school.

I always wear a sweater to hide these marks. I've been too depressed for my current situation, as almost my arms are covered with scars of slices with a sharp kitchen knife, if not, a child's body scarred and marked with whips and bruises too. I wish I can end my life but I still don't have the guts yet, so I choose to harm myself to cope with my current situation I've been holding since ever I was born, and learnt how to do this at the age of 8. Life's been pushing my state all the way to the edge.

I've heard many children were missing since ever they walked this mountain, and it attracted me. I do not want to live in a village where I have to suffer the most, where I have a neglectful family, where I hated everyone there. My hatred towards humanity is stronger than what I think, I wanted to wipe them all. But I can't, despite being a child. So I have no choice but just disappear from this depressive, selfish, neglectful world. I climbed, took a step forward and that's where I fell.

I don't much but, I opening my eyes, landing on a flowerbed and a very soft cushion. I heard a voice. That's where I met asriel.
