PAINTING PROCESS

This art piece took me about a good few months. It was done in an elective art class and when she said we had to bring in objects to take photos of I knew what I had to do the flowers and box are from the teacher herself not mine. The locket is mine. Its an oil painting but it started with an outline of the things then the whites of the photo then the painting. Colors I using were, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Cadnium Yellow, Cadnium blue, Crimson Red, and Cadnium Red

COLORING PROCESS

I started by toning the canvas then adding my whites where it needed then painting the yellows in, I doing the box last and the background after the flowers and locket.
