EmotionTale is an AU I created that is heavily based off emotions. I will be updating this wiki the more EmotionTale is developed.

In this AU, monsters live on the surface. Things are tense between the human race and the monster race, so each race tend to live separated from each other.

In this AU, everyone has some sort of "floating crown" that is linked to their soul. The crown shows the personality of the owner and is basically a representation of your soul.

The Monster Kingdom is located in a snowy region, while the Human Kingdom is located in a beach-y region. There are a few smaller villages located around the two Kingdom's that are sort of a gray area. Here, monsters and humans live together.

Emotions

In this AU, Emotions can take on the physical form of a small colored orb. These Emotion Orbs will not manifest unless the emotion is pulled out from the soul. This is done by literally sticking your hand through the person's chest and into their soul. Once in orb-form, that Emotion can be stolen and consumed by a different person. After a person's Emotions have been stolen, they will temporarily become what is called a "Husk". The Husk will be empty inside and unable to feel Emotions until a new Emotion Orb is formed in their soul. Until then, Husks will be stationary and stare blankly in front of them.

Emotion orbs are often described as being similar to drugs because they let the consumer temporarily experience an Emotion they cannot feel on their own. It is very common for an addiction to form for a specific Emotion (usually one of the positive Emotions), and thus emotion-thieving is a big problem for the Kingdoms. It has even gotten to the point where there are Emotion Farms created by some darker individuals. Humans and monsters with Positive Emotions will be kidnapped and put into small, dark rooms. There, their Emotion Orbs will be repeatedly stolen as soon as they are created. Emotion stealing is thusly a very serious crime and any offenders will face serious jail time.

After consuming an Emotion Orb, the consumer will only temporarily feel the effects of the consumed Emotion. Depending on how strong the Emotion in the orb was, the effects can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours.

Military

Many of the residents living in or near the Monster Kingdom choose to turn to a life of knighthood. They are trained by the Royal Knights to harness their magic, use weapons, and protect the citizens of the Kingdom.

The Royal Captain - The one in charge of the Monster Kingdom's entire military force. Currently the title belongs to Ulysses.

Platoon Leaders - The ones who lead the seperate platoons of fighters. They report directly to the Royal Captain. There are four Platoon Leaders.

Squad Leaders - They are the leaders of their own squad. They report directly to the Platoon Leaders. There are sixteen Squad Leaders in every Platoon.

Knights - The kingdom's soldiers. They have graduated from their training and are war-ready. They report directly to their Squad Leader.

Recruits - Knights in training. They have not yet graduated from their training.
