In simplicity, UnderMind is the POV of Mind!Sans when he encounters a glitch within a fairly new AU. It is not his past but a possible future so in and of itself it is an AU of an AU. Mind usually stays out of other Multiverses which is why this is separated from them.

Its uses the "True Canon" characters or characters before they were in other stories. Yet at the same time each character used becomes an AU character separated from the True Canon.

The main overarching plot is the main antagonist trying to create a fused Multiverse so that there is only one of each AU character in the Omniverse. Mind will get dragged into this through certain means which will change him forever and remove his original self from existence.
