Heya, I'm sure none of you have ever heard of RC!tale. *sobs into pillow* oh well! Because I am now going to give you an official explanation to the thing literally no-one knows or cares about!

introduction!
*cough cough* well hello there curious beings! Yes... I am breaking the fourth wall. RC!tale is basically an AU where the player buys a rip-off game called RC. Unintentionally installing a silent virus called RC!.exe onto their computer,
since the virus was silent, they never destroyed it then they played Undertale. Because they are awesome, Little did they know that RC!.exe was a virus that utterly destroyed anything with a face. Photos, videos, drawings of live things. And it latches on to anything the person opens on that device. So when they opened Undertale, the virus slinked into the game, as a sentient character, (a feline with illusional and destructive powers.) frisk/River meets the virus, affectionately naming it Cat. (Cause she is so creative.) Cat then follows her, trying to find a way to destroy her. The virus also unintentionally glitched the game so Chara/Eclipse was in the game only a few hours before Frisk/River. Frisk also befriended Cat, with her determination of course. Cat though, as a sentient being, began to realize what there was in the world. Since he was more then just a piece of coding now, he followed ahead of River, creating a sort of destruction in the space-time reality. He messed Sans up slightly by telling him that he could probably teleport through the door and not have to sit in the cold snow. Sans then did teleport, no-longer not hopeful. When he came back to snowdin he watched Chara murder everyone in snowdin, including Papyrus. He was able to collect Papyruses soul though, as through all the resets, he had harnessed the power of a timeline, crushed by omega Flowey into a necklace sans could wear to collect souls. When River met Sans at the lamp though, he though she was Chara/eclipse coming from a save point to murder things. He tried to fight her but was stopped by Cat. Cat dragged him into a void, cracking half of his skull off and taking his soul. (Not knowing the rules of society, cat is a little vicious when protecting friends.) River then continued through the broken Underground. A hole torn in space and time, causing her to race against the clock to reach the end of the game. When they reached Gaster's lab, River was attacked by him as he needed her determination for the machine. Well she was dying Cat tried to save her by grabbing all possible jars of determination and injecting River with them. He then realized that was to much determination, and took some for himself, unknowingly giving himself his own demise. River hugged the cat in sympathy, fusing them together into RiverCat. Finally, it was over. They were now stuck in the void. Maybe forever, but a ivory hand came up and helped them from the void, saving them.
(Bonus fact, RC is my signature and means River.Cat.)

Okay... Here.
Cat= so, I made him a feline glitch because cats are predatory, sleek animals that can fit into smaller spaces and since he is a virus that hunts for faces, he is very predatory. He also would have to fit into the encryption of videos and photos to wreck the faces.
River: Kay this one is very simple. It is my fake name and the name of literally all my main OCs.
Eclipse= this is also one of the main names I use. But I call Chara Eclipse because an eclipse is when one of the two celestial bodies (moon or sun) cover one or the other. I call Chara "Eclipse" in this AU because she is a cover up of what is good in the world. She is a child, with a hate for humanity, not because she can, but because they overlook her as a demon when really she is a smol little thing who likes chocolate.
what's up with Sans?
Okay... In this AU, Sans is sort of important, but he isn't the main focus. (Unlike half of the AUs in the history of AUs) in this AU, Sans just fades away. Papyrus is barely even mentioned! I sort of made him fade away as the sanses are usually over-used in most AUs. But he is still important, he helps RiverCat out of the void when their AU was destroyed. And he was somehow the cause of his AUs destruction anyway.
He also doesn't have a soul from when it was taken by Cat. But he still is alive!
Gaster not Alphys? :sob: nuuu!
The reason I killed off Alphys was partly for plot reasons... But mostly it was so I could squeeze in Gaster and just switch them around. Alphys fell into the core and Gaster created the determination machine to try to help Undyne get her back. By injecting monsters and asking for a specific favour to jump into a specific hole and search for a specific lizard. They failed.
Papyrus nooooo!
XD, I think a few Fangirls will try to murder me. But oh well, the reason I murdered Paps was because I really dislike drawing him, seriously he is one of the hardest things to draw. Yeah.
But it also drives the plot forward.
RiverCat the Amalgamate
This... Is my main OC... River and Cat.
Aaaaaa, later I will make a favourite about her, but to sum her up, she now shadows Ink and Error, taking notes and using an adaptation of both of their powers to create her own balance in the multi-verse. Mostly visiting the worlds and helping or extracting the monsters within.
Art... Yeah...
Okay... I think it would be really awesome if someone decided to draw my AU, it could be a five-year old for all I care. This AU is really missing the art part. I mean sure, I occasionally draw River and cat. But hey, I would appreciate art. ;)
