"Hey, Ink!"

"Hmmm? What do you need, Error?"

"I made this for you." Error gave Ink a plushie that looked exactly like him.

"Oh and this too." Error also gave him a blue scarf, like what he is wearing right now.

"I'm already annoyed by your scarf. It's too plain and bland." He added while rolling his eyes.

Ink was too speechless to thank him. Error always gives him presents, gifts, or something special.

"Well? Where are your manners, Ink-y?" Error frowned when he saw Ink staring nowhere while holding his gifts for him today.

Ink blinked, he finally knows how to speak again. "Ah! I'm really sorry, I just got too surprised. This is so adorable, thank you so much, Error!" Ink blushed and hugged the plushie.

Error also turned red and gave him a shrug, trying his best to keep his cool. "Yeah, yeah. You're welcome."

"I also made something for you." Ink put the plushie beside him and changed his scarf into the scarf that Error gave earlier.

"Here! I hope you like it, Glitch-y!" Ink gave him a box.

Error growled at the nickname that Ink gave him but took the box anyway. "What is this?"

"Open it yourself, dork!" Ink laughed, his blush is still visible from his face.

Error did what he said and saw two papers. He grabbed it out of the box and stared at it. The first paper is a drawing of Error stitching something while the other paper is...a blank one.

"...Thank you for the drawing but, what's the other paper that you gave me? What do you want me to do with it?" Error asked.

Ink just gave him a grin and left him confused. "Again, thank you for the gifts! I better go now - I can hear Blue and Dream calling me." Ink changed the topic and opened a portal, he grabbed the plushie again, the scarf is on his neck and his old scarf is left on the floor.

"I'll see you later, Error. Don't destroy too many Au's, would 'ya?" Ink warned.

"Heh, can't promise it - I won't also try doing it too." Error grinned and expanded his strings.

"You're still a troublemaker." Ink shook his head and sighed before going inside the portal into the Underswap.

Error chortled, but still can't get the weird feeling out of his chest. "Why is it still not enough..? What's the final piece to make my empty soul be content?" Error asked himself and started to pace around.

"What did you do to me, Ink?" He stopped and grabbed Ink's scarf before sniffing it. "Oh man, I'm going crazy…" He groaned and threw it away. "I need this to stop."

"...But I just can't at the same time…"

Error is watching the stars on the Outertale again. He always comes here if he wants to think deeply about something….or someone. He still has the blank paper that Ink gave him a few days ago. He doesn't know what to do about it, he can't throw it away or rip it into shreds - because it's Ink's gift and everything that he will receive from Ink shall be kept.

"What should I do?"

"I don't think staring in the stars will help you, Error."

Error recognized that voice. He turned around and saw Ink - the scarf that he made for him is still on his neck. "Oh, hey. It's you."

Ink frowned, "Aren't you happy to see me? Do you want me to leave? Okay then-"

"NO! No, I...Stay, please.." Error fumbled on his words.

Ink observed Error before sitting beside him, "Something's bugging 'ya?" He asked and put his brush next to him.

"No, of course not-"

"Are you sure?" Ink cut him off.

"I know you too well, Error. I know your every move. Now, tell me what's wrong." Ink put his hand on Error's hand.

"Is there something I could help you with?" Ink asked again.

"You don't understand, Ink."

"Then say it so I ca-"

"You don't have a soul! You're soulless! How can you feel what I'm feeling?! How can you help me with that?!" Error pulled away and stood up, now glaring at Ink.

Ink touched his vitals and sadly smiled at him, "That's why I have these, to feel emotions. You're lucky, Error. You can feel love, happiness, sadness, anger, and other stuff. But for me - I can't feel anything. I'm just like a walking void and I hate that, I hate myself for not feeling anything…" Ink let out the pressure he had been feeling for the past few years he'd been living.

Error stayed silent, Ink never talked to him about his problems so it took him time to load.

When he finally finished loading he clenched his fist and harshly gave the blank paper to Ink.

"You don't know how you made me hope for nothing, Ink."

"W-what do you mean?"

"...I've been loving you for - I don't know, 2 years now? And yet, you just think of me as your friend, and I hate it. I want more, I NEED more than that. I spent my whole life, trying to think of ways to move on but no - you're just..you're too..- I DON'T EVEN KNOW! You're making me crazy, make it stop." Error growled and pinched his cheeks out of frustration.

He can't believe it, he confessed! He confessed his love to Ink and now he doesn't know what to do.

All of a sudden, Ink started to laugh like a maniac. Tears also fell down on his cheeks for laughing too hard and that confused Error.

"What are you laughing at, Idiot?"

"Y-you..you loved me!" Ink grinned before giggling again.

Error took this as an offense so he stepped forward and pushed Ink, not too hard. "So?! What are you implying?!"

"Y-you...you didn't do what I said that you need to do to the blank paper, did you?" Ink chuckled and held the paper.

"What? You didn't say any-" Error stopped, he realized that he forgot about a certain moment on what happened a few days ago.

Ink was about to go into the portal but stopped when he ed something. He turned to look at Error again and smiled, "Put that blank paper into the water and you'll know what it's for." And after he told that, he left to go to Blue and Dream.

Error scowled at Ink and crossed his arms, "Nothing will change even if I that, Ink."

"But SOMETHING will change if you do it though." Ink smirked and held Error's hands.

"C'mon, we need to do it so you can stop murmuring how much you're just a friend to me." He giggled again and summoned a portal by using his brush.

They went inside it and saw that they're in the waterfalls. "Which waterfalls is this?" Error asked and sat near the water.

"UnderTale." Ink replied and sat beside him again. He brought the paper and gave it to Error.

"Well? Do you mind?" Error took it without hesitation and slowly dipped it in the water.

Words are suddenly formed in the blank paper. It is only three words but Error is already content with it.

"So, do you like it? Can you stop imitating a baby now?" Ink teased when he saw how Error blushed and grasped his scarf to calm himself.

The words that are formed in the paper is,

"We're just friends."

Nah, I'm just kidding, it's literally,

"I love you."

Ink cupped Error's cheeks and gave him a quick kiss before pulling away and making with both of their foreheads. "I will never stop loving you, Glitch-y."

"I'll let this one slide, Ink. And, you're cringe-y." Error chuckled.

They spend the day having fun in the waterfalls. iF YoU kNoW wHaT I mEaN.
