Yo what's up ladies and gentle germs, since you guys seemed to like the first chapter, I got right to work on Chapter two! Just like the first chapter, didn't use a program or anything to write this. LostTale as an au by me, and yeah so hope you enjoy and please suggest to be featured if you do!
Edit 1- I would love to see you artists try to think of designs for these guys! If you haven't noticed by the descriptions, these guys are rather different from the ones in undertale. Give it a try, I'd love it but don't feel obligated to. Think of it as a kind of challenge!
Edit 2- thanks for the feature! I really appreciate it!

After I fell, it was like I wasn't even human anymore, and that was a good thing. I had a real home this time and I believed it to be the best thing that could happen to me. They considered me as a real member of their family. It was amazing. And asriel, he was the best thing. I had before felt sympathy for him, always wondering what could have happened to him to have caused such bad wounds that left such bad scars on him. He never seemed a bit bothered by it though. He was always...happy.
He didn't mind if I got angry, he'd still want to make me happy too. It always worked. There was no denying what great things he did for me, even though he was nothing more than just a weak ball of fluff. Everything we did was always fun, and made me happy, but sometimes I couldn't help but show my real feelings sometimes though. Holding flowers. I was holding flowers, this time my hair was cut nicely and clean. A hand was on my shoulder, Asriel was holding flowers too, lots of them, smiling brightly like he always did.
"Smile!"
I just hung my head, my bangs casting a shadow over my eyes and I shoved my flowers in my face. There was nothing wrong with it, but I suddenly just felt out of place suddenly. For months on end I felt nothing but a sense of belonging, but I couldn't tell them that, they would worry. At least I knew that much. New Home wasn't the only place here, but I hadn't really been in many other places since I left. "Hey, Asriel, why don't we go somewhere?" I was now just laying in bed, staring up at the ceiling, thinking.
Asriel turned on his side and I noticed him watching me from the corner of my eye. "Well, maybe we can ask dad to take us with him tommorow. He has a meeting with Dr. Gaster." He replied, sitting up some. I turned over to face him, wondering what or who he was talking about. "Dr. Gaster is the royal scientist. He even built the core!" Asriel explained, yet I still rendered clueless. "The core is the huge machine in hotland that gives us power." He continued. Still clueless. Asriel huffed. "You'll find out tommorow!"
***
I never really was a morning person, so getting up and having to leave the house wasn't my strong suite. According to Asriel's long explanation at down at I assumed was probably seven-freaking-o clock in the morning, we'd be travelling through a place called hotland. I had been there before, but only really when I had fallen. It was full of lava and felt like two hundred degree weather. While that probably wasn't true, it just felt like it was.
I lagged behind the rest of the family, my head hung low once again, heading towards a large white building that more than obviously said lab. Walking in, the place was clean besides papers cluttered on a metal desk. "Dr. Gaster? We've arrived and we've brought the children with us!" Dad called out. From a door on the wall, out stepped a skeleton. He was shirt and wore a blue sweat jacket and black and white basketball shorts, plus black and white converse whose laces drug the ground, untied.
"Ah, Sans." Dad said. The skeletons eyes drifted to me and I felt suddenly extremely nervous. I'd never met this monster before, nor had I ever seen him. Behind him was a somewhat taller skeleton in an orange sweat jacket with some type of jeans it looked like, and perfectly tied sneakers. "Hello, Papurus." Mom said. The taller skeleton waved.
"Where is Dr. Gaster?" Asriel asked. "The Doctor is down in the lab." The one called sans said, sliding back into the room, and I found myself following with my family. The lab was rather dark here. It was more messy, papers scattered across the floor and taped to the walls. Machines were everywhere. Asriel looked rather curious.
Finally we came to a room, more well lit and neater. Inside sat- you guessed it, another skeleton. This do one was tall and lean, and wore a lab coat and nice clothes underneath. He also had a large hole in the center of each hand. I shivered. Sans and papyrus both stood by the gray couch that the 'Doctor' sat on. They all shared a similarity that I couldn't quite name, for they all looked rather different.
"As you know, these two have been a part of my research for several years, however know, I have believed to have discovered something great. The two of them have awakened some interesting magical abilities. " Dr. Gaster stood and half dragged sans over to a door and shoved him in, locking the door behind him. We could see through thick glass. Sans clearly did not want to be here.
He appeared to sigh and raised one of his arms. I noticed that there was something on his wrist that looked like some type of hospital bracelet. Suddenly his eye glowed, flaming magic that was a blood red color, his raised hand doing the same. Dr. Gaster began explaining something that I was too amazed to hear. Suddenly something that looked like an effing dragon skull appeared. It was as big as Sans himself, and when it opened its mouth, a red beam charged up in it. Before he could get his magic under control, Sans' dragon skull blaster thing shot a beam through the glass and the opposite wall and dust flew everywhere.
I held my nose and coughed, waving my hand around to clear the dust. Once the dust settled, I looked around. "Woah." Asriel mused, eyes wide with excitement and curiosity. I glanced back at the shattered glass. Sans was on his toes, peeking through the hole in he glass. "Oops....." He muttered. I snorted. Smooth apology. I thought. "Sans!" Dr.Gaster snapped. Sans laughed nervously. Dr.Gaster sighed, pinching the bridge of where his nose would be if he were human. "As you can see, there are still a few....uh....problems." He muttered. I heard a ringing sound and glanced down at my chest. My soul, red and black was visible. I looked back up. Sans, his soul was upside down, white and black. No way.
"This is Chara." Mom said, trying to dismiss whatever the hell just happened. I waved my hand. "A human." Dr.Gaster said, as if it weren't already clear to what I was. "We'll discuss this. Sans, Papyrus, Asriel, how about you guys take Chara and do something else in another room."
Sans rolled his eyes for lack of a better term. He just put his hands in his pockets and left the room. I followed, unsure of what else to do. The room was rather plain, nothing special. "I don't care what you do, just don't break anything." Sans hissed, eyes narrowed at me with hostility. I stepped closer.
He stepped back until his back was pressed to the wall. I approached slowly and calmly and held my hand in front of him. Our souls appeared again with another brief ringing noise. The black of his soul was not the black of mine. His soul was cracked. I gently touched his soul and an image flashed in my eyes.
I child, knife in hand. Their skin was dark and they had brown hair, messy and cut unevenly and messily. They wore a blue hoodie with pink stripes and brown shorts, tattered brown shoes on their feet. In their hands a knife, dusted with white, their hands dusted with the same white powdery substance. They had one eye closed and one eye opened it seemed. Their open eye was golden and gleamed.
The image dissapeared and I stumbled backwards, losing my balance and falling to the floor. Sans collapsed to his knees, one hand clutched his chest. "What the hell did you do!?" He snapped. I shook my head, having no answer. All I knew was that this was the start of something bad.

This is amazing! Mind if I draw some of the characters? I know you put that in earlier but I don’t know if ya have a limit of how many people you want drawing them, sorry.
There's no limit! Of course you can! I'll be putting out some reference sheets and bios for them as soon as I'm able to give a better idea of their appearance
