Honestly, I consider myself to be a very mature person when needed. I am currently 16 years old, turning 17 in September. My mental age is between 18-21. Although, I can be very childish at times, because I’m just funny that way, hehe. But of course, when times need it most, I can be a 10 on the maturity scale.

What would you do if there’s a difficult situation and you don’t know or are unsure of what to do?

I would personally seek out the help of other Love Squad . There are some things that I haven’t dealt with, but there are always others who have. When we work together, there is no situation we can’t handle, because that’s the power of love and teamwork.

Why do you want to Love Squad? What interests you? Not only to create friends! Explain your interests.

As I mentioned during my RCS interview, ever since I was a child, I’ve always been very expressive of my love toward others. I love humanity as a whole, despite all the evil in this world. One of my strongest gifts is to see the best in someone. When I see that spark in a person that no one else can, I do everything in my power to make them feel loved. No man is an island. No one deserves to be alone. Everyone deserves to be loved.

I’ve actually dealt with this recently, so I made a post on my Instagram, telling the general public that everything will be okay. I posted this exact message:

If you’re reading this right now, I have an important message for you. More often than not, I’ve been seeing people who are depressed and suicidal. I’m here to tell you and all those people that it doesn’t have to end here. I may not know what you’re going through, but I’ve been through enough to know that things will get better. Once you’ve hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up. You may feel like there’s nothing left for you in this life, but I’m here to tell you that there is so much more for you out there, and things will get better.

When I was in grade school, I used to get bullied. A lot. People would target me because I was a teacher’s pet, a weirdo, a freak, etc. I spent almost every day in the Principal’s office in Kindergarten, because I was always getting into fights to defend myself from bullies. I was always coming home with scrapes and bruises from being pushed around all the time.

Even after I started going to a private Christian school, the bullying didn’t stop. In fact, it got worse. In 3rd grade, a boy threatened to hang me to a tree. I didn’t know it at the time, but that boy wanted to lynch me because I wasn’t white. I’m Puerto Rican, and back then, my skin was very tan. I thought it would never end. I became depressed and suicidal. Then something happened that changed everything.

I met my first best friend. They protected me, and I was never bullied again. Until I moved away from Florida, to Ohio. We kept in touch, and never stopped talking. We still talk on a daily basis. In Ohio, I met my other best friend. We went through so much together, and we stayed strong through it all. If it wasn’t for my two best friends, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Sam (my first best friend) helped me discover who I am. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be out as trans today. I’d still be deep in the closet, scared to come out. If it weren’t for Bri (my second best friend), I wouldn’t have pursued my love for the arts.

After meeting them, everything got so much better for me. No matter what comes my way, I’ll always have the strength to get past it. That’s why I’m telling you, no matter what happens, it’ll be okay.
