Chapter one: come back in the context

First a little context. We are near from the end of our journey trough the dark world. We ed every challenges. We braved dangers and now we approach the end. Sure ? No. Because after beating the K. Round, you will enter in a throne room with a throne which is a spade ans the walls with traces of scratches. Continue until see Lancer talking to a thing which is his father. After a long dialogue, the shadow will reveal to be the king.

What did just happened in the throne's room ? Who is King ?

Chapter two: presentation

King. It's the final enemy of the dark world. The final boss. He looks like this:

A spade. Just like his son. But a strong one. And visibly violent if we believe his attacks and his behavior toward his own son. Why he is like this ? Do it explain what happened in the throne room ? To know that let's analyse.

Chapter three: analyse

A violent king, even toward his own son. How to explain this ? He is hated by his own population, even Rouslx Kaard. But what did made him turning this violent ?

A quite difficult question which has a quite simple answer. You surely when I talked about Gaster who met Jevil and turned Jevil completely mad ? And if it was the same thing for the king ?

What is letting thinking this ? First Seam mentions a knight who appeared and broke the equilibria of the world by locking three kings away and turned Jevil mad. About this knight is even mentionned by the king when he says that he pulled over a shadow fontain, the second one in the game.

King was just victim of a manipulator who is this powerfull knight. By accessing to the throne, he lost the reason and became really violent. And surely during one of his anger issue he destroyed a part of the throne room. Just by anger. Poor him.
