This is an undertale alternate universe called Underlight!In Underlight all souls(wether it be monster or human) are represented by lanterns.Here's how the basic main story will go:(at least the intro)

Long ago,Humans and Monsters lived peacefully,having ballance between light and dark.

The humans became greedy for all of the light,and waged war on monsters.

The monsters were forced into the dark Underground,which was below the bright peak of Mt Ebott.

But now......a human child stumbles into the darkness.

The underground itself is literally darker,with the monsters around having no hope to see light again.As Frisk solves the undergrounds problems the areas will become brighter.

Mosters have hoods on,Humans have hoods off(exet chara)

This will be in comic/art form and not an actual game.
