I haven't seen anything about this, so... I decided to make it! BioShock is my favourite game series of all time, so why not combine it with my all time favourite game?
BioShock is a three-part series that is based around steam punk culture. The first two games take place in an underwater city called Rapture, founded by Andrew Ryan. In the last game, BioShock Infinite, the setting is in a city in the clouds called Columbia, ruled by Comstock.
I haven't played BioShock 2 yet, since I haven't gotten my hands on a copy. I'll update this when I do!

Long ago, Gaster was in debt due to an addiction he had. A set of twins -Chara and Asriel- had come to collect it, since he owed them something. Not only that, they had an order from Asgore to retrieve the child anyways, since he had disowned Chara and Asriel because of their timeline shenanigans. They end up taking Papyrus away from Gaster, but he was dead then so it only affected Sans. Sans attempts to hold the two back, but he fails. Papyrus loses a pinkie during transportation since the tear closed faster than he went through. This gave him the ability to travel through tears or portals to other timelines. Sans had cut holes in his hands to always Papyrus as well as his father (Dadster theory).
One day, around 10 years later, Chara and Asriel approach Sans with the opportunity to get Papyrus back. His mission was to get Papyrus then take him to New York to pay off his dad's debt and return to his own timeline. Sans agrees to this and gets blasted to Columbia, completely unarmed and penniless. He asks around for Papyrus, but no one seems to know exactly who he is. They referred to him as "the king's only pride" and that he was protected in a tower. The child, Monster Kid, had told him Papyrus was locked up there so the "man with holes in his hands" or "(insert)" couldn't take him away.
After reluctantly entering a lottery and being told not to pick the number "66" in a letter from the siblings, he ignores the warning and ends up winning. He has to throw the ball at a human-monster couple or the person running the lottery. He chooses the latter, which makes the event leader find out that Sans is the "(insert)". The guards are alerted, and make Sans' journey to Monument Island extremely difficult.
He enters the tower after having killed so many fucking monsters. He had no idea of the songbird's existence, so he went in as if it'd be an easy job. He notices there were windows that could view certain rooms Pap was in, but he himself couldn't see it. He heads up to the top of the tower and ends up falling in.
(Will add more later, same case as above.)
(Does not include Burial at Sea)

That's fine! BTW stories do need some thought and rewinding! Also maybe the little sisters could be the six souls (or seven) on there dress color!
