Severe weather here in SA

In the span of a single day. Everything was covered in about 6 inches of snow since Monday, but overnight it almost completely thawed! And San Antonio has lost its dang mind because we never get weather like this and the city doesn’t know how to handle it. We had no power for two days straight, which meant no heat. But we had running hot water. Other areas have had electricity and heat, but no running water, and some areas have had both or neither.

We have power today, finally. Internet is down though so we’re all basically bored out of our minds. I’ve been “stuck” at my boyfriends since last Wednesday night due to the weather conditions. The two highways that head back to my side of town were closed as of Friday night, so my boyfriend couldn’t take me home, then everything iced over and became covered in snow soooo. But it’s been kinda nice cause now I have a reason to spend more time with him. He’s a baby when it gets cold though and has been “hibernating” every time the power goes out XD

I might actually be able to go home tomorrow, which is kinda good because I really miss my cats and I still haven’t been able to do my orientation for my new job because of this stinking weather.
