- My name is Alexander The Superior Being (/j) but everyone calls me Alex. Strawberry, Ginger, and That One Guy :tm: are also acceptable.

- My pronouns are whatever you like. He/she/they/lol it's whatever.

- I'm 24 (25 this June)

- My time zone is Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4)

2. Describe yourself & your connection to the community.

- I'm just a silly (sometimes controversial) guy, and I've been around VS since 2016, before leaderboards, blog/chat backgrounds, or even amino+ (those were the days). Virtual Space has always been a place for me to relax and make friends. I'm a loner nowadays, but I've always had a soft spot for this community above all others, and I've never applied for a curator position. I've always been nervous around curators and mods, in fact, but I'd hate to see the bots and scammers ruin what's left. My old friends are gone, my old posts are gone, chats and everything, but I'll still keep coming back, posting my semi-adequate poetry, and hopefully adding a bit of light energy, strangeness and humor. At the end of the day, laughter and silliness are what bring people together through the worst of times, and I think most s throughout this community's history have been through those worst of times. I enjoy reading. I enjoy being a goof. I enjoy the particular brand of insult that isn't annoying but makes you roll your eyes yk? All that said, I'm just a guy.

- As for notable things, to my memory I made it here without getting muted, banned, or struck by the powers that be.

Ig that's the bare minimum huh :skull:

- I have written angsty poetry.

- I have achieved the pinnacle of cringe.

- I have made niche jokes that no one understands.

- I have maintained an inability to pretty my posts.

- I've made a lot of irrelevant posts no one needed to read too, so basically not much of note

- But I wrote! I existed! I lurked! I struck fear in the hearts of, like, three people!

3. What is your availability?

- I work a two-week schedule, 12 hour night shift. Two days on, two off, two on, two off, three on, three off (it's not that simple but I'm more than happy to provide details and I'd love to deal with pesky issues while my fellow US peeps are sleeping)

- I don't usually have a lot going on but that changes occasionally. On work nights I typically only have time for work but I might hop on during breaks. I don't mind that now and then (when I'm not reading)

- My time on here fluctuates but I'm usually on for a couple hours a few times a week, maybe more.

4. Share an idea for a project you’d like to work on.

- I'd love to inspire some nostalgia and bring back the VS tree for a season or two. Real ones might :eyes:

- I'd also want to inspire more writing! Possibly through promps, special titles for active writers vs. active for other reasons getting different roles, so everyone knows who they can find some common ground with (with a side bonus of being able to tell who's a bot and who isn't, or at least who's regularly active) There's a nonzero chance that might help. It might not. But I'm a free spirit so I'd push it anyway :point_right:

- Perhaps we could have a group chat where active can come by and hang with leaders and curators to build more solidarity and trust. That might already exist. I've been blind before :sparkles:

-I don't know the general sentiment towards the mod team nowadays, but I at times it wasn't very good and often mods seemed to exist in a totally different universe. Could be I was intimidated by the idea of getting myself in trouble because yk, I wasn't always well behaved 🤐
