Agares (Agreas) is the 2nd of the 72 Goetic spirits. Said to be able to manifest taking the form of an old man riding a crocodile, and carrying a goshawk. King Solomon was said to have sealed 72 spirits into a brass vessel that was thrown into a deep lake, Agares being one of them.
