Ahoy, maties!
Recently, the [guidelines] have been updated to better suit our ever-growing community!
As you probably know, we now have over 5,000 ! This, unfortunatly, means that if we want to make sure that this community is as safe as we can make, we have to add some more rules, add more to some rules, and add some stricter punishments.
You don't worry much, though, because nothing too major has been changed. We mostly just clarified some rules and added rules that previously were enforced but not written down.
One think that you should note, though, is that we noe have a minimum sentence rule. This is to help discourage spam, and even help prevent it a little bit.
It is NOT acceptable to put something like "This. Is three. Sentences." Please have at least five words in the three minimum sentences, or have more than three sentences. Be creative! Go into detail about your post, describe it, explain what inspired it, etc.
We also have a new option availible to you: a verified tag!
As stated in the new guidelines, "You have the option to get a “Verified ” title; this title will be applied automatically to who have a popular social media (s) once they’ve been checked for impersonation. If you wish to earn this tag, you need to have your art or writing verified that it’s yours. It is preferred that you have a couple of posts with your art, writing, photography, or whatnot if you do not have a popular social media ."
The only other more serious update to one of the rules you should know is that we've added a rule about acts for attention.
As said in the new guidelines, "Any and all acts for attention will not be tolerated. This counts as, but is not limited to, spam, trolling, faking suicide, faking depression, faking mental health problems, faking financial problems, faking a family member’s death, posting things like “Should I leave?” or “Leaving because nobody likes me.” as well as things like “Am I popular?” or "Should I be unhidden?"/"Should I be banned?". These will be removed as soon as possible and you will be punished for it. Call out posts will also fall under acts for attention."

I’m a little confused on the “three sentences rule”... I get that it’s supposed to reduce spam, but where and when does it apply? Will I get punished for commenting “Nice art!” On people’s blogs?
