PROM QUEEN

Finally I locked in and didn’t procrastinate on an animation so I managed to make this in 2 days instead of starting and never finishing.

Context / background:

Brambleclan has just been to battle with Gorseclan to avenge the murder of Brambleclan’s leader Rainstar’s son Cloudpaw. He was slain by Mountainjaw, Gorseclan’s deputy, while protecting the clan border.

Cloudpaw was also Frostcloud’s brother and she, along with their sister Shadowdream, were made warriors for fighting in the battle against Gorseclan.

After their warrior ceremony, the clan held a funeral for Cloudpaw and the two sisters sat down at the camp entrance for their traditional vigil.

Beechshade, after seeing how distraught Frostcloud was after her brother’s death, decided to “comfort” her by asking her to be his mate.

This, of course, pissed Frostcloud off. She was so infuriated that she physically attacked Beechshade, slashing across his face which left him with a scar on his cheek.

She wasn’t aiming to kill him then, only to punish him for his furious audacity and selfishness. The idea of murder only came into her mind when he became deputy.

But I still thought the lyrics fit so I decided to make this and I really like how it turned out!
