heyhey, of wca!! leader citrus here, and after numerous requests, the leadership team have decided we wanted to continue the annual tradition and bring back wca awards!

i’m here to present you the nomination post for last year. while 2023’s awards were a bit of a mess, we’ve decided to host the previous year’s awards in january.

what is wca awards?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

wca awards is a fun and non-competitive event that takes place every year. the community nominates and votes for to win “of the year” titles — however it’s not just about the ! there are other categories included that involve patrols, chat rooms, etc.

our intention with this is for our community to come together and show appreciation for one another! the title does not come with any other privileges or mean one member is better than all the rest.

the stages

there are 3 stages to the awards — nominations, voting and results — that will be their own seperate post.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

nominations are the first stage. will be nominated through a google form. there will be multiple categories which amongst other things can be suggested for ( e.g. writer of the year, roleplay of the year, etc. ).

the next stage is voting. after 5 days of nominations, voting commences. a post will come out and included will be another google form where you can vote the who were suggested.

the third and final stage is results. after 5 days of voting, there will be a post declaring the winners. titles will be handed out and posts and such will be featured.

⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ member’s name and profile link

⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ • do not beg or guilt-trip others to vote

⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ • do not complain or harass other

⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ nominated if you are not
