Witchy on the Go, Why Not Make a Witchy Drop Bag!

Some of you have probably heard of a drop bag, for those who have not, it is simply this: a bag of items of importance you can quickly take with you in case of an emergency.

So you are probably asking what on earth is a Witchy Drop Bag?

I know that I get called to help with cleansings, banishes, circle work, and all the rest when it comes to the craft. Sometimes I would start to gather up what I thought I had, only to find I was completely out of something or another. Not a good thing for a Witch on the go. That is when the idea came to me. Why not have an emergency bag I can grab at the last minute. This way I am not having to stop at a store or panic. Let's face it, we all panic a little when we are unable to find any of our witchy tools.

Let's Make That Bag or Box!!

Items needed:

1) a bag or box that is not too big and can easily be picked up or grabbed going out the door

2) your herb mixes (premixed) and (labeled with what they are to be used for

3) candles of varying colors (the small ones are better for travel)

4) extra crystals that you like to use when doing ritual work (they do not need to be large)

5) a spare athame and/or wand

6) incense and burner

7) a little tote book that has a copy of your spells and/or rituals you use most

8) a small bundle of sage

9) a small container of salt

10) a lighter or small box of matches (unless you know how to light without)

11) small bottle of water

12) a spare cloth that you don’t mind getting dirty

13) anything else you want or would like to use, as long as its small

Now you are probably asking, "where do I keep it?"

The answer is simple: in a place that you won't forget to grab it.

When storing the Witchy Drop Bag, make sure it's not near any direct heat source or even freezing temperatures, for it will ruin the items in the bag or box you have them in.

that this is for your witchy emergencies and anything that is in the bag or box should be items that are extras and not your main go-to items. It is important to make it your own. Feel free to decorate and put your intentions into everything you place within.
