Look into reading her story/ies. As to get her background and who she is. There are a couple (or so) versions. 1.) She was lured in by Hades, 2.) She was abducted by Hades. 3.) and/or to be his bride.
In Greek mythology, she is commonly known as Persephone and is the daughter of Demeter and Zeus. In Roman mythology, she is known as Proserpina and is the daughter of the agricultural goddess Ceres. The Greeks and Romans also called her Kore or Cora, meaning “maiden” or “daughter.”
But her history may go back even further as may also have ties to the Babylonian goddess Ereshkigal. The two share a similar primary myth.
[Precaution mentioned above to work with her] If you wish to work with Persephone, a good first step would be to set up an altar in her honor and then meditate or quietly sit near the altar focusing on building a connection with her. Picture her in your mind and imagine her standing before you as you do. The more you sit with her and focus on inviting in her energy, the more connection you will feel between the two of you.
Let your intuition guide you on what you feel is best to add to her altar based on the time of year it is. Consider which aspect of her you want to work with or call in. (You may work with both if you feel so inclined.)
When to celebrate her:
• Spring Equinox (Ostara)
• Fall Equinox (Last Harvest, and Mabon)
• Halloween/Samhain (some consider this day as her coronation of becoming Queen of the Underworld)
Indomitable goddess who turns the wheel of the year, has such wisdom to share with those willing to listen.
Devotional Acts that may please her, or attract her energy:
• Self Care - this is a goddess who learned how to find her inner strength and confidence in the face of a very challenging situation. She will appreciate you making an effort to do so as well.
• Go on a Nature walk - like Demeter, her mother, loves nature. Enjoy the stroll through a park or the woods (consider bringing gloves container/plastic bag to pick up the rubbish on your walk)
• Tend to a Garden - learning herbalism or growing your own garden is great way to get in touch of nature and her energy
• Write her poetry
• Work with Ancestors - Cleaning their gravestones, honouring ancestors, [I'll let the next thing be found in the source links, cause all of Amino is PG-13, so this devotional practice is more for the mature of acts for Persephone], honouring souls that have ed onto her realm to [again soure links].
• Meditation
• Self-acceptance
• Transmuting pain
• Turn struggle into hustle
• Self-discipline
• Practicing self-control, resist self-judgement:
Another practice that increases self-control is to resist self-judgment. You'll need a black fine point marker and plain paper. This one works very well, but it's a bit weird to do at first. Set aside a time - usually thirty minutes to start. Continue with your normal activities. However, every time you have a judgmental thought about yourself, you have to stop what you're doing and write it in black marker on the plain paper. Every. Time. If self-criticism is a problem of yours, you'll see how much time you waste on it. The practice also teaches self-control by successfully completing the activity. How to honour her:
• Spend time outside during Spring. Go see spring flowers, ire and compliment her work.
• If it's winter, taking care of house plants can be a devotional act. Maintaining natural elements inside while she's away.
• Gardening of any kind.
Deeply connected with Hekate, Persephone offers soul-medicine of healing and empowerment.
During the winter time, as a time of reflection. With working with her. As she goes back to the underworld, to be with her husband. There is a story I found online, I can't the source link though, but I found that she was taken and the age of the Ice Age came. In desperate need of her to come back, a deal was made. She'd come back for Spring and Summer, and then she'd leave back to the Underworld for Fall and Winter. It took a very long time to have the seasons figured out. As she was the Goddess of Flowers. But, also the Queen of the Underworld with her husband Hades. She ate the fruit of Hades, pomegranate seeds. So, he choose her to be his wife.

You may also create a shared altar for her and Hades.
