Generally acts like: paranoid, obsessive, suspicious, demanding, masochistic, has compulsive behavior.

3 The Untrustworthy Monster

Cause: fear of life in general

Generally acts like:: secretive, impulsive, irresponsible, deceitful, unreliable.

4 The Emotionally Unstable Monster

Cause: basic feeling of being “unlovable” and powerless; reacting to unresolved emotional pain

Generally acts like: moody, melodramatic, manipulative, weepy, overemotional, impulsive

5 The Controlling Monster

Cause: basic mistrust of life, feelings of abandonment and “not being good enough”

Generally acts like: suspicious, jealous, possessive, bossy, obsessive.

6 The Cynical Monster

Cause: protection against feeling too vulnerable

Generally acts like: negative, overcritical, patronizing, resentful

7 The Wrathful Monster

Cause: fear of others, mistrust of life, closed heart

8 The Rigid Monster

Cause: fear and rejection of the unknown, chaos, ego death

Cause: distrust of life, others, and self

Generally acts like: superficial, cunning, inconsistent, sly, crafty.

Cause: buried grief, fear,using numbness as a defense.

Cause: possible unresolved childhood wounds

Cause: refuses to grow up, lack of individual ego
