♙How To Find Yours♙

Finding your own Story Genre can be a long way to some, however short to another! It’s pretty simple, so let’s walk through the steps together.

1. Look Through Your Liking;

Everyone was once a reader before being a writer, what type of stories are YOU into? Was it horror? Was it an adventure novel? What type of twists do you like? What type of characters? Based on what YOU as a reader loved to read, that would be perfect for you as a writer, as there is a big possibility of more readers like you.

2. Try different genres;

Perhaps you have no idea what to do, what to start with, which genre suits you better- it’s alright! You can try writing in different genres, mess around with it until you find your specialty! You can try romance, then historical, then who knows, maybe a mix of both! The point is, you can always find your genre, it doesn’t have to be only one so don't limit yourself to a certain amount of genres!
