Pain?

To me pain is something ive caused to others

I made them hurt

Ive broken bones

Its something I carry everyday

Wether it be mine or Someone elses

It doesnt matter

It never mattered

Pain is something I keep in my chest

A reminder of the monster I am

Its something i try to mend

To fix in others

Something I cant fix within myself

Its a hole

One we try to fill with nonsense

Yeah theres a physical pain

Thats something im far too familiar with

And Yeah, theres an emotional too

That one can cut a little deeper

The pain in my heart

The pain my father carried

A single parent

With an unstable job and 3 mouths to feed

Told me he was sorry

That he was never a good parent

Tied to give me the opportunities he never had

Pain is just one side of the coin

But my luck has been running low

Landed on pain every time

I see the pain people cause others and it hurts me too Cause ive been there, on both sides of that coin

I tell my best friend everyday that im sorry

That he was worth more

Than the pain his step-mother caused him

Pain pulled the human from my heart

nd told me to give up

How eager i was to give up
