What is this feeling? Is it love? Is it confusion? I feel the world fall to countless grains of sand at my feet, but I’m still here. With you. Always with you. We dance as the world breaks, shatters and burns, but the screams are drowned out by the sound of our laughter. We dance across constellations, our picturesque faces captured forever in each other’s memories. The moonlight illuminates your gorgeous face, and I can see the smile painted there. There is nothing more that I want more than to be here, in your arms forever. When I’m with you, I can outshine the sun. For you, I would catch the moon and bring it to you if you asked.

Your gorgeous eyes reflect my smiling face as we gaze deeply at each other, pretending everything will be alright. Pretending the world isn’t ending, and everything we’ve ever stood for is being demolished, torn to pieces as we dance this never ending waltz, our feet barely touching the ground. Your graceful movements leave me breathless, and I feel like I can barely keep up. But for you, I’ll try my hardest. For you, I’ll do anything and everything. You twirl me around, your pale skin reflecting the moon overhead. The iridescent glow of our bodies reflects the darkness surrounding us, but we aren’t bothered. We keep dancing, nothing stopping us, not even the inset of despair as our world burns to a crisp. Here, it’s just us, no one else. For now, we only worry about stepping on each other’s feet as we dance, not wanting to ruin this indescribably perfect moment.

I can’t decide whether it’s worth it or not. Trading my sanity for you? Is it a fair trade? I think it might be. I’d let the persistent thoughts of not being enough eat away at me forever if it meant I’d always be here, in your arms, spinning breathlessly on the dance floor. I want to comfort you, hold you, tell you it’ll be alright and that we’re in this together. I want to spill my guts to you, tell you all my irrational fears and worries, but I don’t want you to see me in a different light. I want to keep the facade of perfection going as long as possible, I want you to think I’m the perfect ray of hope, here to fix all your problems. I want to be that perfect ray of hope, more than anything else. I want to be confident in everything I do, to always know to take the right path. I want to do it for you. Everything for you.

I’ll be anything you want, your ive and hyper best friend one minute, your solemn therapist the next. I lean my head into your chest, hearing your heartbeat. You guide me across the dance floor, your patience amazinging me as always. You smile down at me kindly, and my heart races in my chest. I can feel your’s accelerate too, and I smile to myself. You really don’t know how much you mean to me. From the moment I first met you, I fell in love. Your sweet words, kind and genuine personality and adorable smile captured my heart and never let go. I want to spend eternity with you, on this ethereal dance floor, falling deeper and deeper in love as each second es. I want to dedicate my life to you, to making you smile and blush.
