Sweet Like Candy

Hello hello! Today, I have my entry for the Art Club Challenge of June. I decided to go with the transgender pride flag for my creation, and use Link as the character. ^-^

Without further a do...

Here she is! The inspiration of the color scheme was taken from the transgender flag, which is consisted of pink, blue, and white. When looking at the colors, I thought about cotton candy. This touch added a cute vibe to the drawing and went with the color palette perfectly. Along with the candy, I added some lollipops to go with it. Tying together the light pastel shades, I decided to go with a pastel green for Link's tunic.

The sketch took about an hour and a half.

Line work

The line work took about fifteen minutes.

The coloring took about an hour.
