"I'm the fastest on land! My partner, Nuri, is the fastest in the sky!"
Name: Vyla von Celio
Nicknames: Vy, Annoying Vermin (Ghirahim)
Title: Skyloft's Prodigy, Angel of Wrath
Age: 19
Height: 4'11
Race: Hylian
Likes: Anything to do with the surface, whether it's books or actually being on the surface, hanging out with Zelda and Link (who she may or may not crush on while rooting for him to get with Zelda) ((she is the oldest of the trio)). She absolutely adores the Remlits, despite having been attacked by one at night as a child. Íseldur upon meeting the sword spirit who becomes her partner. Faron Woods.
Dislikes: The desert due to quick sand. Skulltullas (she fears them), Groose (until he redeems himself then she actually likes the guy. She despises Ghirahim and finds him creepy. Tornados. Her visions (they cause splitting headaches) and nightmares.
Fears: Her family, Link, or Zelda dies. Skulltullas, Ghirahim AND Demise together.
Gender and Sexuality: Female and straight
Family: Mother- Ari Celio, a retired female knight of Skyloft who now spends more time at home with her husband after Vyla became fully grown. Father- Tyler von Celio, a man who loves his wife and daughter very much, and pursues a ion of writing.
"You-! STAY AWAY FROM HER!"
Personality: Happy go lucky, kind, and caring. She can be seen as sassy occasionally, and constantly wants to explore the land of Hyrule. Occasionally gets splitting headaches with visions of her past life that causes her to run off and disappear; she doesn't like the idea that someone she knows might see her being in any kind of pain. She hates showing herself as being weak in any way. She doesn't ever say it, but more often than not, she always feels a bit lonely.
She is very protective of Zelda and Link , considering they are both her best friends. Out of all three, she's the oldest. She is also very loyal to those she trusts, taking betrayals as a terrible thing if she were betrayed. She would do anything for her friends if they asked her too. Eventually, Groose becomes one of her friends too after she learns he's not so bad of a guy.
Vyla loves her parents, and all of Skyloft. After all, she wouldn't be around were it not for her parents, and Skyloft is such a lovely home! Her love for them, is just as great as her love for her two closest friends; this, ironically, makes them her biggest weakness. A weakness that would later be exploited in other lives yet to happen. As it is, she loves racing her friends while in the sky, or when alone... She loves to explore. Both at day, and at night.
Outside of her friends and parents, her favorite most treasured, beloved partner is none other than her Loftwing Nuri. A rare one who matches her speed in the skies. The two have a very strong bond, often leaving them no need to even need a sound when in the sky. One whistle and Nuri comes. Together, the two make an amazing team in the sky.
This Vyla isn't easily prone to anger, unless someone has either been very VERY reckless (more than herself), or someone's actually harmed someone she cares about. And often times, that's when Vyla can lose control of herself in a fight, immediately ending up on the winning side if she isn't careful. Despite her speed, she's still beatable after all.
As she is an official knight of Skyloft, she would do anything to keep her home safe. Even if it meant she were to die.
She is a very resourceful person, often being quick witted in fights, and other scenarios one must act quickly in. She plans things out, and even makes back up plans. Often times, she is always trying to come up with a strategy, even if said strategy is more often than not, charging right in but it depends on the scenario.
"Hey Link! We should go race a lap in the sky! I'll go easy on ya' this time!"
Backstory: Vyla was born as a descendant of a great family that has been around since even before Skyloft existed. And ironically enough... While she is a descendant, she is also the reincarnation of one from the family who had met a gruesome end before Skyloft became that of well... Skyloft. Of course, these are stories that are never told. Well, they are, but often as legends. Legends that a young Vyla heard growing up, iring them. Legends that made her want to explore the surface; after all, who wouldn't?
Growing up, Vyla had been taught many, many things. And she read many, many books. Especially books that regarded the surface. No one knew why. But she was absolutely obsessed, developing a life long dream to find a way to travel to the land below the cloud barrier. Unfortunately this dream often made others shun her in a way, claiming that the surface wasn't real. The only ones who hadn't thought that way were her parents, and Link and Zelda who became her friends.
The day she got her loftwing was a magical day for her. As was traditional for Skyloftians, when she came of age, she was to get a Loftwing. Some had expected her to not get one at all, and others had suspected hers would come in last. But instead, she got hers first. And her loftwing was a sight to behold, holding the colors of a flame, similar to that of a Phoenix, flying faster than any loftwing ever known. Immediately, the two bonded, and Vyla knew what to name her partner. Nuri, a name that meant "My Fire."
Fast forward to when she came of age to enter the Knight Academy, she ended up in advanced classes. Both because her mother had been teaching her things ahead of time, and because it turned out she was one hell of a prodigy. Both with fighting and with books; nearly all tests minus a few, she aced. She even taught herself and Nuri barrel rolls! Just three years prior to being 19, she had officially graduated the knight Academy, and became one of the youngest Skyloftian knights yet.
On the day of the wing ceremony Link took part in, she had been watch it, only to take to the sky as soon as it was over. Her plan was to let Link and Zelda be alone for a while, but tragedy struck when large tornado had appeared, sending Zelda to the surface. Having seen this, she had Nuri fly straight towards the unusual storm. Vyla had managed to help save Link by keeping him from falling, only to dive towards Zelda immediately after, getting knocked off her loftwing in the process.
The next thing she knew, Vyla was on the surface, awakening inside of a temple where an old lady around above her along side a strange... Firey colored humanoid being with pants and shoes on. After being given a brief explanation, she was given a pair of swords, learned the strange being was named Íseldur, and was told to head off towards a peculiar temple and wait for Link.
And that she did. And a journey to save Zelda began. This journey taught Vyla many things, including that, once he arrived, Groose was truly a nice guy when given a chance. The downside of the journey was the fact that with each temple they visited, Vyla learned more and more about her past life, which more often than not, made the visions and nightmares she had always experienced far worse.
Upon defeating Demise, she too, like Link and Zelda, was cursed. But rather than it being a blood line, or a spirit, it was her soul itself. Meaning future incarnations would house one single soul, sharing nearly all the same traits as the last incarnations.
"Demise, you bastard! It's about time you've died!"
Appearance: Wears a slightly dark pink undershirt and a green tunic over it, as well as dark brown pants. She also wears whatever armor Skyloftian knights wear. Her outfit colors are basically in the Picrew below.

-Vyla carries around a sail cloth from when she had won the wing ceremony prior to becoming an early graduate.
-She actively has a slingshot and keeps ammo for it on hand 24/7.
-She always uses a shield, and even uses it to shield surf in the desert.
-Like all Vyla do, she has super speed.
-She is partially blind in her left eye, as it had been open and therefore scratched when she was attacked by a remlit.
Her voice claim is Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia.
"I know about it all... My past life, the blessings I was given... The fact I was friends with Hylia in that life... And even how I had met my end. I know of it all... And I really wish I didn't. But even so... I'm just glad that all of this is finally over."
