When she was a young girl, Vespera wandered too far away from her parents, thinking they were following her but losing them within the crowd. She searched for anywhere she recognized or a place that felt safe to wait, eventually finding an amphitheater where a production of an old play was being performed. She found a place to sit and watch the rest of the performance, eventually forgetting what led her to the amphitheater in the first place. When her parents found her, they noticed how entranced she was with the performance and made a promise to take her to another show soon if she agreed not to run off like that again.

Years later, she performed in a show of her own, and despite not having a lead role, she adored how it felt to be on stage and pretend to be someone else. She continued to perform into adulthood, eventually ing a small community theatre as one of their consistent actors. She would never accept any lead roles given to her, believing that the ensemble was just as important and knowing she could better her cast mates in that role. However, as time progressed, she started to feel bitter towards her cast mates within the community theater, especially after constantly being ignored and forgotten once a show was over. It grew to affect her love of performing, and she was on the verge of quitting altogether before a strange woman spoke to her after one of her performances, an encounter that would change the course of her life in a way she could not imagine...
