The human population had reached an alarming peak, the ever rising number of people had affected and caused harm to multiple aspects of the earth. The heightened pollution and improper waste disposal led to complicate the already depreciating living conditions. No law nor threats could make the people adhere to a one child policy.

Men who lived based on carnal instinct had guided humanity to a fragile state.

A world of Man lived by Animals.

In times of desperation and hopelessness a few ex NASA scientists had made a proposal to create a space craft large enough to hold a few million people.

In summary, they brought into the light the possibility of living in space...in Mars---an idea laughed and mocked a few years back but it was a time of crisis.

Another year in this dying earth and no one would be surprised if the land suddenly plundered into the depths of the sea.

And soon Alpha Project Galaxy Paradise Dome began.

In the media and in public the scientists had explained their process and protocol with such humbleness that it masked the actual purpose of their intention.

A Biodome was constructed in an area in Mars, in that Biodome was the standard neighborhood if you could even call it that-- three houses stationed right next to each other-- a convenience store, a clinic -- basically a few buildings that can be found on earth to give a sense of normalcy.

The scientists had garnered enough financial to create such things, only one Biodome was created for 'testing'.

And the chosen inhabitants?

Were Randomly selected people of different backgrounds-- people with no importance, people of the slums who have struggled and fought tooth and nail just to stay alive.

Disguised as a 'privilege' but really--- they're just guinea pigs sent off to Mars and see if they'd die out there or not.

A week in the Alpha Biodome a tragedy happened---

It was revealed on the live space drone that Mars--believed to be uninhabited do have their own life forms.....

Ones that are far from humans and definitely not as welcoming as how Martians are portrayed. They were monstrous humanoid beings with a penchant for human flesh-- witnessed by the live broadcast when a maintenance staff was checking on the power outside the dome--torn to utter shreds until his body was a grotesque mush. Complaints and demands arose from the public then another problem occured;

The scientists who started this project to begin with had ran off with the money. Leaving not only most of the countries who ed their project in a impoverished state but the people sent to the Alpha Biodome? ---- forgotten, people didn't give a damn about them since everyone has their own problems.

They were left there... To die and to be forgotten.

The Alpha Project Galaxy Paradise Dome had gone to complete shit that much wasn't a surprise at all since the scientists had been very sketchy from the start.

The chosen inhabitants of the project are 4 in total.

Two males and Two females, chosen by standard procedure of opposite genders under the pretense of the possibility of 'Procreation' (of course the subjects were never told that).

Each of these individuals have been chosen with specific 'requirements'

1. They are at the lowest point in their life (To make sure they are desperate enough to agree to start a 'new life')

2. They are either orphans , have a strained relationship with their family and have no meaningful connections (To ensure no one would actively look for them if push comes to shove)

3. They have to have a strong bitterness or resentment to their life on earth (So that they have nothing to go back to)

These four unfortunate subjects had been promised a better life in Mars without knowing that they have quite literally stepped into their doom.

The first week was nice, everything was normal, one house was occupied by two tenants and the buildings and accommodations were on par on what one would see on earth.

Till one by one the staff who maintain the Biodome go missing one by one when they step foot outside.

Then a Code Red was signalled--- Two of the remaining staff rushed into the Biodome bloodied and panicked.

The Biodome was under 'Guard Mode' The entrance and the glass Roof closed shut with durable, black titanium steel and the power went off, the source of light being the emergency lights running on battery.

And that's where everyone was given the news that sealed their fate.

Alpha Project Galaxy Paradise Dome was a massive farce, a scam job to steal money from the government and not only that.... Mars is a planet infested with Flesh devouring aliens out to get them from outside.

Their survivability depends on each other and the only way to escape the planet is to find the emergency space shuttle conveniently (not really) located somewhere around the Maintenance and Control Dome Center which is stationed 160 miles away from the Biodome they were in (It'll take 3 hours and 12 minutes to get there).

Their lives is now their responsibility, will they choose to betray each other when the going gets tough? Or will they fight through it and make it out alive?

(I decided to merge these parts because you're solely in charge of who your oc is. I don't wanna limit your choices by creating a fixed summary of who your character should be. ^^ Keep in mind that we need to be realistic here, your character must have some sort of contribution to the Rp for example your Oc plays the inspirational leader)

Selene’s life before wasn’t any different, or so she thought, from those next to her. She worked in a hospital, taking care of patients as they were wheeled in and out of her OR. She wasn’t a head surgeon, just a surgeon with enough reputable skill to land her higher on the food chain.

The pay was shit, shittier than any other of the eight hospitals located in her city. As she watched the city she knew as a kid become full of crooks and those who only say a dollar sign above every plot of land.

So when she saw the blue dot blinking in her email inbox, she hoped that maybe this could be the change shes been waiting for.
