perfect from A to Z ; Ahn Hyejin

On this day (July 23) 24 years ago, a

girl called Ahn Hyejin was born in Jeonju,

South Korea.

She now is a member of the well-known idol

group MAMAMOO and a woman I

ire and love a lot.

To celebrate her birthday, I decided to try

out a new type of blog, so I wrote this

A to Z appreciation blog.

I hope you'll enjoy reading!

Hyejin always says that she's not good

at acting cute andI think this makes

her even cuter if you know what I mean.

Like she's not that typical k-pop girl who

could probably do aegyo in her sleep, so

whenever she's asked to do aegyo, she

becomes shy and is a whole cutie. 🤧 :two_hearts:

She has been getting some criticism for

her looks as she doesn't fit the strict

beauty standards of Korean celebrities.

However, I think that she is simply

stunning. She is a beautiful person inside

and out and she deserves all the

appreciation and love.

Hyejins whole appearence screams

confidence - her clothes, her

fierceness and just the way she acts.

This is one of the things I most ire

about her, I wish more women would

be more confident, just like her. In that

sense, I think that she's a rolemodel for

many women who aren't confident

in their outer appearences.

MAMAMOO is known as a group full

of dorks, and their maknae is not

an exception! Whenever they joke

around on camera, she comes up

with the most funny and random stuff.

I think Hyejin has this "natural"

elegance, I don't know how I could

describe it differently. Just the way

she walks and the way she dresses

is so effortlessly elegant.

Hyejin has a great sense of fashion.

No matter what, she always looks

super stylish. Her style is more on

the elegant and mature side, though

she often wears comfortable pieces.

Let me just say that her skintone is

so so beautiful! I know that in many

Asian countries, it's considered more

beautiful to have a pale skin and some

people even get treatment to light up

their skintone, yet Hwasa fully

embraces her natural glowing skin.

I perceive Hyejin as someone who

always tries to be natural and honest.

In my opinion, honesty can be an

extremely valuable characteristic.

This woman is such a great inspiration

for many people, and I hope she knows

that. Not only musically, but also as the

amazing person she is. I also watched a

video of a street interview about

MAMAMOO in Seoul and someone said

that Hwasa has become a trendsetter in

fashion and make-up in Korea which is

simply amazing.

Hyejin is that one person who will

sit in a corner of the room and judge

literally everyone and everything.

This is not a joke.

Due to her charismatic and confident

appearence, she might not seem

like a warm person at first sight.

She is, in fact, one of the kindest

and sweetest people ever.

Whenever all the MAMAOO

hang out together, you truly notice how

much they love and care for each other.

The modelling industry has lost one

of it's biggest stars in her, she always

looks so breathtaking in photoshoots

it's not even funny.

I feel like Hyejin is a person who never

acts fake. As I already mentioned, she's

always really natural and doesn't hide

anything in front of her ,

friends and even her fans.

Hwasa is a very ive and

open-minded person which is

a thing many people appreciate.

I think we can all agree that all MAMAMOO

have an exceptionally powerful

stage presence. Especially Hwasa knows

how to catch the audience's eye with her

facial expression, her powerful vocals and

dance.

I just found out that this adjective exists,

so of course I had to include it. If you

look at this gorgeous woman, you won't

need any explanation for this I guess.

Due to her natural and dorky behaviour,

she's often really relatable for fans.

to the weird stuff the do are

always so funny!

One of the things I most ire about

this woman is her strong will. She once

said that when she went to auditions at

a company, she was told off because she

was "ugly". And even though she was

treated in such an unfair and cruel way,

she still went to more auditions until she

was accepted. Others would have given

up, but she decided to ignore the negative

comments and continue to pursue her

dream.

Now let me just say - that solo debut was

i c o n i c! The song, MV, performances,

outfits, everything was on point! Of

course an EP or even a full album

would've been great, but let's not get

too greedy, shall we? She did amazing

with her solo debut and I was really

proud of her.

Every human is unique in their own way,

but I'd dare to say that Hyejin can top it

all. Her personality, her voice and style

aren't only unique in the k-pop industry,

but in the whole world. (Okay that was

cheesy but it's true)

Her voice is one my favourites ever,

it's incredible. The way she sings is really

strong and stable, she's able to hit those

notes effortlessly. Sometimes her voice

sounds really soft and breathy, like in

Don'tGive It To Me, a song she produced

and sang with Loco on the show Hyenas

On The Keyboard. Her voice still has a

certain rasp to it which I simply adore

(yes, I have a faible for raspy singing

voices).

Hwasa is one of the who's

included in the production of their

music a lot. One of the songs she

wrote and composed is My Heart from

MAMAMOO's first mini album Hello.

I really ire singers/ rappers who

write and produce their music

themselves, I think it's amazing to read

the lyrics about their own thoughts and

struggles and to get to know their taste

in music better.

She definitely seems like a really

cheerful and bright person (at least

sometimes lol). Especially when she

jokes around with her , she's

a whole sunshine.
