Hello there Amino, as the Squad has been undergoing some reconstruction, we decided to remake and update this database

A lot of this is copypasted from what Boaz made, but with up to date information and my own little flair to it. The background can be found at the end of the post.

This post is for all management information regarding the Welcoming Squad and the Squad. You’ll be able to find the current member roster, an overview of everyone who has ever been in the team, a backlog of all the posts and chats we’ve made. This is mostly made for convenience purposes so most links are easily accessible, but it’s also for people who might be interested in ing either of the teams.

↝ General Information ↜

The original WC was founded by Robun (on a previous ) and Z

It officially launched as a Community Team on the 29th of September, 2017.

The team split into two divisions due to spreading tasks better and so people could focus more on one duty instead of multiple. Thus creating the Welcoming Squad and the Squad, on the 17th of March, 2018.

The Welcome Committee has always had one main goal: trying to make the Fire Emblem Amino as accessible as possible for newer . There are two main ways how we try to accomplish that. One way is by sending a welcoming message to every single new person that s, and the other through direct communication in the official Welcoming Chat. This is exactly why we are split into two divisions. Here is a brief explanation of what the two teams are all about:

The Welcoming Squad

This team focuses on welcoming every that just ed the Fire Emblem Amino. They regularly post a message on walls of new , containing a bunch of helpful links to get them started.

The Squad

This team is responsible for managing the official Welcoming Chat. The Welcoming Chat is a specially designed chat for new to befriend each other and gain access to the guidance of veteran that make up the Squad.

↝ Leadership Log ↜

Here you can find an overview of how leadership has been handed over to one and another in the Welcome Committee:

➙ Robun was the first Leader of the Welcome Committee.

➙ In October, Robun handed Leadership over to Wrys and stepped down himself.

➙ In that same month, Boaz became the Co-Leader of the Welcome Committee.

➙ Wrys went on a hiatus in November, and that is when Swoods also ed, originally as a replacement Co-Leader.

➙ Shortly after that Wrys came back and Swoods became a permanent Leader.

➙ When the WC split into the Welcoming Squad and Squad, Wrys became the WS Leader, Boaz became the SS Leader and Swoods became an Overlapping Leader, together with the newly promoted Nuggets.

➙ In August Wrys and Swoods both officially stepped down from their respective roles, but still do behind the scenes stuff now and then. Nuggets only stepped down from the Welcoming Squad, and thus became a Squad Leader.

➙ At the same time, Mahiru ed Boaz and Nuggets as Leaders for the Squad.

➙ Alex took a long hiatus, which made Wrys return to Leadership.

➙ In June of 2019, Alex returned and took over the Welcoming Squad again, together with RSE. Wrys stepped down from Leadership.

➙ Over the next few months, RSE stepped down as Welcoming Squad leader and Starrymilk took over that position.

➙ In addition to this, all the Squad leaders stepped down. As a result of this, Robun reed as Squad leader in October 2019.

➙ In December 2019, Alex stepped down as leader of the Welcoming Squad and left the squad.

➙ In addition, in December 2019, MK and Brynn ed Robun as leaders of Squad

➙ In January 2020, Brynn and Krimson were promoted to Welcoming Squad Leader, alongside Starry

➙ In January 2020, Robun stepped down from Squad Leader, leaving the squad in the hands of MK and Brynn

➙ In March 2020, Brynn stepped down from Squad leadership, leaving only MK

➙ In April 2020, Hya was promoted to Squad leadership, Brynn also stepped down from Welcoming Squad leadership

➙ In July 2020, Krimson stepped down from Welcoming Squad leadership, with MK taking her place

➙ In November 2020, Starry stepped down leaving only MK to lead Welcoming Squad

➙ In February 2021, Hya left Squad, also leaving only MK

➙ In March 2021, Tiki was promoted to Welcoming Squad leader

➙ In April 2021, Jason, Rin and Elwyn were promoted to Squad Leader, this was followed by MK stepping down from Squad Leader

➙ In June 2021, Tiki stepped down from Welcoming Squad Leader

➙In August 2021, Spider and Isla were promoted to Welcoming Squad Leader

➙In September 2021, Rin stepped down as Squad Leader

➙In December 2021, Aoi and Min were promoted to Squad leader

➙In January 2022, Elwyn stepped down as Squad leader

➙In August 2022, MK stepped down as Welcoming Squad Leader

➙In February 2023, Aoi stepped down as Squad Leader

➙In March 2023, Spider stepped down as Welcoming Squad Leader and both Squad Leaders stepped down
