Hello everyone!! We hope you're having a wonderful crafty week :blush: :heart:

Don't worry! We're well aware that this isn't our usual day for hosting challenges, but we have a very special reason for our challenge being a week early!! This month the leadership team has temporarily commandeered the welcoming committee's profile to host a month-long challenge for October!

It's no secret that Crafty Amino is an incredible community of love and , both for each other and for the many great causes that are out there :muscle: :heart: Over the years we've hosted several challenges dedicated to raising awareness of such causes with our #CraftyForACause challenges to name a few :sparkles:

This year is no different and to encom all of these wonderful causes, we want to turn amino into a beautiful rainbow of unity with the #ColorYourProfile challenge for the entirety of October! :tada: :tada:

By doing so, we hope to not only raise awareness of the great causes that are out there, but to also let everyone know they are not alone in the battles they may be fighting every single day. We are here for you and we stand with you all. :muscle: :heart:

:sparkling_heart: How to participate! :sparkling_heart:

:purple_heart: Splash color all over your profiles in recognition of a cause of your choice throughout October!

🧡 Feel free to add color to your profile background, bio, profile photos and more! :heart_eyes:

(I've included a tutorial at the end of the blog if you're unsure on how to edit your profile color) :wink:

:green_heart: Create a craft for this challenge to represent your chosen cause and share it with us in a crafty blog! 🎗

:heart: Make sure you use the hashtag #ColorYourProfile in your blogs so they have a chance of being seen and featured! :mag: :sunglasses:

:sparkles: Profile background Tutorial! :sparkles:

1. Go to your profile and select the three dots in the top right corner of your profile. Then select "edit my profile".

2. Then select "choose background" and create your desired color by using the toggle buttons shown in the screenshot below. Or select a color of your choice from the selection provided.

3. Once you're happy with the color of your profile, click the "Save" button in the top right corner and you're done! :tada:
