september spreads

hello everyone! september is coming, so i made my first spreads! this is what i used:

• fineliners from the HEMA (dutch store)

• highlighters from Stabilo Boss Original.

first, i made the september cover page. i made a circle and drew leaves against it, then i drew september in a calligraphy style.

second, i made a monthly spread. i tried to hold on to the same theme, so again drew leaves on the background and drew again in a calligraphy style september. i drew it a little bit different then the first time.

the first lines of some dates can look weird, that is because i erased my appointments. for my own savety.

third, i made studylogs, because next week starts school for me. i tried to bring the colors of the theme back into the page. the quote beneath the logs, was kinda self-made. i found the quote on pinterest, and changed the second and third line. those lines fitted more into my life then the originals.

fourth, i made to do lists. i use them only when i really need them, that is why i made four and not more. i again tried to bring back the same theme with colors, but i think that did not really work out..

never mind. lol.

fifth, i made a one line a day. only i did not have all my stabilo’s with me, but i wanted to make it really bad, so i used the color purple. not really fitting to the theme, but i really did not care. when i made it, i had space left underneath. so i made a grateful for and chose a little quote from pinterest. here i brought back the leaves, to bring the theme back.

what i really liked about this spread, is the font. many people use this theme with block letters in the back and in the front calligraphy style. i love this id

last but not least, my september theme page. i picked some leaves from my backyard and glued them on top of the page. on the green leave i taped it a little bit, because i thought it was a nice touch. further i picked out some september vibe pictures from pinterest and glued them on the page.

i also thought it was a nice idea to do a little string of pastel coloured lights next to it. it is not very fitting to the rest, but yeah it is me, little impulsive..
