Hello again mates

I have returned and

it's time for another

collab with Pepe.

Now this time we are back at

one of our favourite things,

aka guessing stuff? We both

gave each other some albums

and, simply put, the mission is

to guess which song off each

album is the other one's fave.

I have to it, even before I begin

the actual guessing part, that this

time pepe def gave me some hard

ones so we'll see how this goes.

b.a.p: noir

⤷ pray

Now if I got this one wrong, I'd be surprised

but also I would most likely totally get it bc

honestly, almost every single song on this

screams Pepe at me. That might be just bc

it's B.A.P but I think many of the songs are

really something Pepe could easily listen to.

I chose "Pray" for a couple of reasons. Firstly,

it has Yongguk and Zelo, two B.A.P

I, for some reason, rly associate with Pepe. I

can't who her bias is or if she even

has one in B.A.P but these two fill some of the

criteria she has previously presented for her

biases. Secondly, it is epic and rap heavy. She

sure does enjoy her epic and she often likes rap

more than vocals. Not always, but often. Lastly,

I distinctly that she was the one who

re-introduced me to this song. I didn't really

listen to it (or the Noir album in general tbh)

that much before, but she has talked about

this song and either forced me to listen to it

again or recommended it somewhere. Either

way, a huge thanks, it's iconic and I need it in

my life. So yeah, because of these reasons,

my guess for this album is the song "Pray".

My reasons for choosing this song are more

or less the same ones as for the previous one.

I know that Pepe really likes this album and

I when we talked about it after it

was released. Now if I correctly,

we had the same top three songs for this

album?? Or maybe it was some other album.

But I think that she talked about this song

in particular that it was really amazing. So I'm

kinda just trusting that her taste hasn't changed.

"Her" isn't necessarily a song I'd immediately

think of when I think of songs Pepe likes but

on the other hand, this is the sound I really

associate with Winner. Pepe loves Winner.

So it would only make sense for her to love

a song like this which has the Winner sound.

huta: hutazone

⤷ hang out

I'm much less confident with this guess but

I still have some faith in it because listen:

This song actually features Soyeon. Pepe

likes (G)-idle and I think her rap part here

is totally something that Pepe might like.

Moreover, this song has a vibe that combines

Mamamoo, more recent TVXQ and Block B.

Theres some jazzy elements, some catchy

vocal parts, swing instrumentals, snaps, a lot

of rap and an addictive chorus which is less

about vocals and more about the beat. All of

these things just scream Pepe to me. Just go

and listen to this song and think about TVXQ,

Mamamoo and Block B. The vibes match so

well, don't they? So yeah, I chose this song.

There are a few other songs that I think may

be the correct answer but my reasons for

choosing "Hang out" just made a more sense.

eric nam: honestly

⤷ potion

This album is another one of those where

I feel like there are many songs which are

Pepe's style. This one reminds me of Kard

because of the smooth tropical vibes. I think

Pepe really likes those vibes. Besides that,

there's the rap part with Woodie Gochild

and while I'm not sure how much of a fan

she is, I do know that she likes khh so she

might be familiar with him as well. If this

song isn't the right answer, then I'm just

gonna mention there that my second choice

would have been "Don't Call Me" which is

actually my fave song in this album. If that

one is also Pepe's fave, then welp, it just

goes to further prove that we share braincells.

sf9: mamma mia

⤷ mamma mia

This was a really difficult one. I felt like none

of the songs like shouted Pepe to me. I was

really torn between Mamma Mia and Go Back

in Time, but in the end I chose Mamma Mia.

Pepe has mentioned this song before and

the bright, playful, funky vibes suit her taste,

I think. She tends to like songs I'd call boppy

and kinda have this almost mischievous feel.

I don't know, it's difficult to explain. But it's in

the vibes of the song. Just listen and you can

sense the youthful, playful feeling. I am not

sure why that's something I associate with

Pepe but for some reason I just do.

girl's day: everyday 5

⤷ thirsty

If this isn't the right answer, then I'm a clown.

Pepe has talked about this song quite often,

to such an extent that I've come to really

associate it with her and her only. It's a really

catchy but smooth song, which might not be

what I'd necessarily typically associate with

her but the again it kinda reminds me of her

taste in khh. She does enjoy the smooth bops

and this song just has a such an interesting

mood that I could totally see her enjoy. Still,

this guess is mostly based on the fact that

she has talked so much about this song before.

mamamoo: hello

⤷ I do me

This was another difficult one. This time bc

it could honestly be any of the songs, I feel

like. I chose this one because it's so different

from the other songs and altho I know Pepe

really likes Mamamoo's vocals, this song has

such a badass vibe to it. That kind of a vibe

that reminds me of MOBB or even some Zico

stuff. Still that being said, I wouldn't really be

surprised if I was completely wrong because

all of the songs on this album are golden and

could totally be Pepe's cup of tea.

clc: crystyle

⤷ liar

Pepe has mentioned this album somewhere

before but I couldn't really the

context nor whether she said that some song

was her favourite. This song is a bit slower

but the strong vibes are there. It reminds

me of some other ggs Pepe likes, especially

(G)-idle and maybe BVNDIT? There's also

a hint of tropical in this song and Pepe does

enjoy some tropical vibes every now and then.

The chorus is just quite Pepe to me, that is

my main reason for choosing this song.

block b bastarz: I'm a mess

⤷ easy

Now first of all, someone pls tell me why was

this comeback like almost totally ignored??

I really like this album but I saw so few ppl

talk about it,, Anyways, I feel like when it

comes to an album like this, where every

song is next to perfection imo, Pepe's fave

song will change depending on her mood.

Originally, I had my favourite song as the

quess but then, last minute, I changed it

to this because this really reminds me

of Winner with the guitar and vibes. Also,

there's a Latin vibe to this song too and

Pepe does like some songs with that.

Tbh I'm not too confident about this guess.

day6: daydream

⤷ hunt

Once again, I was quite torn between a few

songs but, in the end, this one just has the

most Pepe-like mood to me. Mayhaps it's

also like my fave from this album as well,,

This is super funky, catchy, fun and playful.

The chorus sounds like it belongs in a movie

or, even more fittingly, an anime. Pepe likes

anime. Poor reasoning but then again listen

to the vocals in this song and honestly wig.

This song also just really reminds me of

some bands outside of kpop and idk, I think

Pepe might listen to this style of music

outside of kpop as well.

I feel like, although I know Pepe's

general taste in music, it's really

difficult to pinpoint certain songs.

Also I feel like music taste is

something that can just depend

on the current mood you have.

Sigh, well I kinda guessed this and

still, I think four is a good result. For

some of the answers, I had the correct

one as my second guess (like for SF9)

while for some I am actually quite

surprised what the correct answer is

(like Eric Nam). Still, all of these songs

make sense now that I see them listed

and I can def see Pepe listening to them.

This was so fun to do, always such

a pleasure to collab with you bro!
