Hello everyone! Welcome to a brand new Blogist blog! I am here to reveal the winner for April’s Jams of the Month (JOTM) challenge to you all today. It was certainly a difficult choice as all entries were incredible and our team is enjoying to see how much participation are we getting from the community :heart: Please do keep showing us your creativity all while appreciating different music/artists!

The winner for this month is…

Nadia!!

Nadia wrote a short story inspired by Park Bom’s Spring ft. Sandara Park. The story is very magical and keeps you on edge from the beginning til the end. Nadia also shares her thought process as to why she decided to go with this song and theme in the first place making her story more compelling than ever! I believed the overarching spring-theme is also very fitting of the month as a whole! You could see the effort and just creativity behind it all, which is why the team (Blogist) picked this one as our winner!

Congratulations Nadia, we really can’t wait to see what else you bless us up with next :heart_eyes:

… for those who don’t know what this challenge is about, here is an overview:

TASK

s choose one or multiple songs every month. With the song(s) chosen, you can create something using it as a source of inspiration – be it edits, poems, art, blogs (reviews, theories), etc. We encourage you to get as creative as you would like with this and have fun.

Whatever you decide to post for this challenge has to be feature worthy or at least show effort in them to be eligible for the prizes.

Every entry, has to include two hashtags #mayjotm !

RULES

s can only choose a song once, they have to choose other songs for the next months, but they can choose multiple songs per month.

Each can make as many entries as they want per month with the same/different song(s), up to them.

Example

Say I choose Busted by Woodz for April - I can make many entries (for example a review and a poem) and post them on 2 different blogs that month. I can also make more entries with Antifragile by Lesserafim that month. But I cannot use either of those songs in the next month.

Challenge lasts from the first Tuesday of the month to the first Tuesday of the next month (aka that's when the blogs will be posted).

Participants need to create a blog or a wiki to keep track of all their entries throughout the 12 months.

One cannot win more than twice throughout the 12 months of this challenge.

If you can’t choose a song of your liking, we’ll be happy to make some suggestions in the comments.

1. The that wins said month would get a title of their choice.

2. Everyone who does all 12 months get a title of choice at the end of the year.
