Welcome to the official patrol suggestion desk! Here you can submit your ideas to become a patrol. Please be sure to read the wiki in its entirety so you don’t miss any vital information.

To suggest a patrol, you must copy and paste the contents of your main wiki into the comments. When making the wiki, please keep in mind these expectations:

— Your patrol idea is unique and has not been suggested or done previously

— A detailed explanation of the patrol’s purpose

— Assignment must complete and how frequently (biweekly, triweekly, monthly, etc.)

— A strike system for missed assignments

— Rules for patrol to follow

— List of the different ranks and descriptions on what each of them do

— A roster with links to all patrol

— Important group hashtags

Q: What if my idea is accepted?

— A: You may now post your main wiki and any other official posts to go along with your group. Next, please set up official chats and auditions as soon as possible so your group can get going! If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to a LT member for help.

Q: What if my idea is denied?

— A: Then unfortunately you cannot go forward with your group on WCA. If you do, the content will be disabled. However, please do not be discouraged from submitting more ideas!

Q: What rank will my patrol be?

— A: All patrols start as a trial patrol. If the LT notices the patrol has been excelling then it may be promoted to an official patrol.

Intro to SkillPatrol

Skillpatrol is a patrol that helps to find and create aesthetics.

We use royalty free images that clearly state they are free to use. From websites like Pixabay

What is an Aesthetic?

An aesthetic is a group of photos and colours pit together in a way that is pleasing to the eyes. There are a few ways that SkillPatrol do this from completing their biweekly assignment, to helping of the community with finding their desired profile aesthetic.

Quota

Quotas are Biweekly and consist of either doing the assignment of creating a moodboard based off of a prompt or helping another member of the community.

Rules

1. Follow ALL Amino and community guidelines.

2. If the member you are assisting is being rude, do not insitgate it. Notify the patrol LT and leave the chat. You will receive a strike if the LT finds that you have insitagted or escalated the situation.

3. If another member of the Patrol starts being rude or disrespectful, notify the patrol LT and they will handle it from there.

4. If it is found that you are being rude to another member or the LT, you will receive a strike.

5. Do not spam any of the chats (sending more than 5 messages/images at a time)

6. Keep swearing at a minimum and if anyone asks you to stop then you must stop.

7. Do not bring up any sensitive topics, if you need to vent/rant then just ask someone if you can speak privately.

8. If you need and excusal or want to go on Hiatus, please let someone from the LT know and we can get it arranged.

9. Hiatuses are only allowed for up to a month and a half, any longer and you will receive an activity strike.

10. Three strikes and you will be asked to leave the patrol. You may audition again depending on why you were given the strikes.

Strikes

Every assignment missed is one strike

Rules broken result in one strike.

If you break one of the amino guidelines or the community guidelines, it is two strikes.

You may get a strike removed by completing assignments.

Ranks and Quota

Leader:

The leader's role is to ensure that every member is following the rules and completing their quota. They are also responsible for giving out the assignment.

Deputy:

The deputy is responsible in assisting the leader in ensuring that rules are followed and help decide the assignments.

Medicine cat:

They are responsible for holding the auditions and watch over the training chat.

Senior Warrior:

Senior warriors are who have been in the patrol for a long time. They are the first member that will be looked at to choose a new LT member when one retires.

Warrior:

They are the general . Some of them will be mentors, they are in charge of ensuring that their aporentice does the training and does it appropriately.

Apprentices:

Required to complete two trainings for their biweekly. After two biweeklies they may request to do an assessment to become a warrior.

Quotas

The leader may complete a biweekly, but their quota is giving out the assignment.

Deputies and Medicine cats are allowed to choose either one option from the assignment's list or assist one member for their biweekly.

Every warrior is required to complete 2 options from the list of 4 given on an assignment, or they may complete their quota by assisting another member of the community.

Apprentices are required to complete two trainings.

Training

Apprentices are required to train twice to complete their quota.

If a mentor makes the effort to train, and the apprentice doesnt, the apprentice will receive an activity strike.

If an apprentice makes the effort to train, and the mentor doesnt, the mentor will receive an activity strike.

If neither make the effort to train, they will both receive an activity strike.
