Working The Newsfeed

This favorite is a tutorial on how to work The Newsfeed

To get to the newsfeed, click on your icon on the top left corner to get to the menu screen

Then hit "Newsfeed"

You are then given four different options at the top

Front Page

Following

Public Chats

And Latest

Following / Latest : Liking and Commenting

There are many ways to like a post

The first was is by clicking the " :heart: " on the post in your feed

The second way is by clicking the post

And then clicking the " :heart: " there

The third way is by holding down the " :heart: " and an emoticon menu will pop up where you can choose an emotion

Your :heart: will be replaced with the face you choose

And the final way to like a post is by pressing the " :heart: & Go Next" button on the bottom

This will like the post you are on and bring you to the next post

To comment on a post, simply scroll down and select the text box saying "Write a comment..."

You can reply to a message by tapping their comment and selecting the "reply" option

The Front Page

At the top of the front page are pinned posts

These posts will stay pinned until a curator or leader removes them

They are usually long term announcements or important information

The main blogs on this page are featured blogs, or blogs the leaders and curators felt were worthy of being on the front page

If you scroll down a bit, you will be given the option to view all the current featured posts

Simply select "More Featured Posts"

You will be taken to a page with all the featured posts

Public Chats

Here you can see all the public Chats that have been made

To one, start by selecting a chat

From there, click the "" button

To see the rules of the chat and other options, click the " :busts_in_silhouette: " in the top right corner

Here you will see the chat rules

You are also given the option to mute the chat and leave the chat
