If you have any issues with these rules or if you believe that we should have another rule added too, then please, tell someone from our mod team about it via private messages.

General Rules

• Respect the Curators/Leaders

We have volunteered to the mod team to help this community grow into a better and safer place. We do not deserve being disrespected or mistreated. If we tell you to stop doing something, we say it for a reason.

• Flagging

We encourage you to flag something whenever you feel that something that you’ve seen isn’t right and is breaking one of our rules.

Note: Abusing the flag button when something is completely fine, will result you into getting a warning.

Feature Rules

• 1 Feature per 3 Days

We have this rule so that there is variation on the Feature Page. We want everyone to get a chance of getting featured without having the fear of getting their post pushed down by 1 person who keeps getting Featured.

So please, limit the amount of art/edits/fanfics to 1 every 3 days as a minimum.

It makes things easier for everyone.

If you DON’T limit your posts, there is a chance that your posts won’t get featured at all.

• What gets Featured

There are several things that we see Feature worthy. Of which are:

- Art

- Edits

- Fanfics

- Analyses/Reviews

- Guides

- Clear and informative News

(Or anything that has had lots of effort and time put into)

• Usage of #Feature

If you know that your post is well made, and it’s got time and effort put in it, then please use this hashtag.

We won’t be able to see all of your posts at times. This hashtag makes everything easier for us to see your posts. Then we can decide if your post truly is worth featuring.

Art Rules

• Do not post work that isn’t yours

If you truly want to post something that isn’t yours, you will have to credit the creator and it that the piece of work is not owned by you.

Treating someone else’s work as if it was made by you will result you into getting a warning.

• Editing work

We allow you to take work from somewhere and work on top of it as long as you make your edits clear, and is obvious where you’ve done changes and/or improvements.

• Show progress

You must take around 2 or 3 pictures that can prove you made the piece of work. This can be something like different stages of what you’ve produced.

For Example: If you’re posting art, be sure to provide progress shots. These can be sketches, unfinished lineart, flat colouring before shading or even angle shots of what you’ve made at the end.

• Signatures

These shouldn’t be necessary, but we do recommend you to add your own signature or watermark on top of your work just to try and prevent people from stealing your work.

Proof read your question before submitting it. If it doesn’t make sense or if it’s hard to understand you will most likely get no replies.

Public Chatrooms

• No duplicates

If there is a Chatroom that was already created for the same reason as yours, then your chatroom will be disabled.

(In exception of the Off-Topic chat and Voice Chats)

• Summarise the Chat Rules in the Chatroom bio

Don’t say “there are no rules, just behave”. If a chat does not follow the rules it will be disabled. As an Organiser it is your job to take care of people misbehaving when there are no s present.

• In regards to Activity

If the Organiser was not active for 7 days, they will be kicked from the chat and someone else will take the place as the owner.

If the Chatroom itself is not active for 20 days, it will be disabled.

This does not mean that if there is only one person sending a message everyday, the chat will stay. It has to be full conversations between 2 or more .

If your post is off topic but it contains a few pictures or mentions of DL, the blog will still be taken down for being off topic.

However, it is completely fine to make “Welcome” and “Goodbye” posts when ing and leaving the amino.

So don’t think you aren’t allowed to be friendly when ing or saying goodbye to everyone!

Chat Rules

• No offensive language

Such as;

- Racism

- Homophobic Language

- Unnecessary negative comments

(For example: insulting other for no reason. If it’s a joke, then ensure that both parties are aware of this, and are fine with it)

• No NSFW Content

Such as;

- Lewd images/messages

- Naked people

- Characters playing

with another person in a sexual/

arousing/inappropriate way

However, these are the kind of pictures that are acceptable;

- Shirtless boys/men

- People wearing shorts

- People wearing mini-skirts (not extremely short)

- Swimming suits (not too showy)

• No Gross or Gory Pictures/Messages

Please don’t share stuff that is sure to make people sick or disturbed.

• Respect Other

You must always try to understand someone’s opinions and try to respect their thoughts and beliefs, even if you disagree with it.

In Discussions

If disagreements do occur, then you can have a calm and civilised argument with your fellow , but please make sure to be respectful and not let the conversation get out of control.

If the conversation is off topic, then everyone involved will be redirected to the [link to off topic chat]. If there already is a conversation going on in there, then you will have to make a private group chat for this occasion to try and not disturb or interrupt any other and their conversations.

• Nothing that promotes or is related to self harm

Suicide or depression shouldn’t be mentioned either, those are some serious topics.

• Do not share any details about someone you know without their permission

Such as;

- Their e-mail address/phone number

- Home address

- Real life name

- Appearance

- Preferences and opinions on important situations (such as politics)

• No Rudeness

Don’t be rude to other at any moment.

Especially if they can’t physically defend themselves at that moment. We call this “talking about someone behind their back”. This will get yourself kicked from a chat.

In example;

- Do not talk bad about people of which have been banned, kicked or muted

- Do not talk bad about people that have left the amino

• No Spamming

Do not send multiple messages/pictures in one go. Whether they are the same thing over and over again or not, it should not be done regardless. So please, help us keep the group chats clean and friendly.

When it counts as spam

- When messages are similar and sent multiple times

- When you keep sending messages without stopping

About Text Limitations

• No Scamming

Do not trick people into doing something when you aren’t going to reward them for it. Don’t tell anyone to do something, and you’ll reward them later. Do not listen to people who say such things either.

• No reselling currency in a game for a much lower price

Those who participate in these actions will recieve punishment as it is a violation to the of use and policies in DL alongside being considered as advertising in DLA, all who agree to use said services from resellers will be punished as well and those who know about reseller s should notify the istraive team as soon as possible.

For example;

If you created an of which was hacked and had immense amounts of items or wyrmite, and you were to sell this for real money, you would get banned from this amino.

You and the one who accepted this trade.

• No Drugs/Smoking/Alcohol

References or discussions about these aren’t appropriate either.

• No threatening other

Do not peer pressure anyone into doing something. Whether you find it funny or not, don’t force other people to do things.

• No intense amounts of swearing/cursing

Swearing/cursing is totally understandable. But doing it constantly and frequently for no reason or against another is not necessary. This is what is meant by it;

- Swearing against a someone’s work. Whether it’s art or an action (Such as their profiles, comments or their way of playing the game)

- Using swear words to make fun of someone, or to make fun of them for something they like/dislike (such as their favourite adventurers in the game)

• Advertising other Aminos/Communities is not allowed

You must have permission from the Leader to do this.

• Do not overuse capital letters, [B], [C], [I], [S] and [U]

Overuse of these will get both annoying and boring. As well as taking loads of space in the screen, clearing off other normal messages.

• Usage of Foreign Languages

It is ok to speak in another language from time to time. But you must give the correct translation of what you say in the same message alongside the text from a different language.

What is not ok is taking part in a conversation and speak in a completely different language or carrying on speaking like that for long periods of time.

The reason why we have this rule is because not everyone speaks multiple languages. And it does get a bit tiring having someone speaking in a way that others can’t understand.
