special person to me so I really wanted

to write about him and appreciate him

since I don't do that enough. he is

someone that I should talk way more

about because he really is special.

anyways, without further aso let's jump

into the blog.

• his birthplace is Bundang, South Korea. He used to live in Japan for a year

• he is a former member of INX

• he trained for 4 years

• he enjoys playing football and watching anime

• he has a 3 dan in taekwondo and a level 5 in Kendo

• he used to be in a band in middle school. He was also in a dance team in high school

• junyong is the most different on and off stage according to Yunsung, because on stage he tries to have a cool image and doesn’t talk much, but as soon as he’s off stage, he starts talking and becomes the mood-maker of the group

• junyong would like to learn German, because he thinks it has a manly accent.

⠀⠀⠀I didn't start stanning noir until their

⠀⠀⠀comeback with airplane mode. I knew

⠀⠀⠀about them before but I didn't start

⠀⠀⠀stanning them. there wasn't really that big

⠀⠀⠀of an impression that junyong left with me.

⠀⠀⠀I knew that he used to be in a different

⠀⠀⠀group before and I guess I viewed him as

⠀⠀⠀something related to that. at that point I

⠀⠀⠀was more focusing on the other

⠀⠀⠀and I was ignoring the perfection, the

⠀⠀⠀talented gem right before my eyes. I it

⠀⠀⠀that was a very big mistake since junyong

⠀⠀⠀didn't deserve to be ignored by me and I

⠀⠀⠀guess unknown guilt started creeping up

⠀⠀⠀on me when I actually realised how

⠀⠀⠀talented, funny and just amazing junyong

⠀⠀⠀actually is. I guess the fact that junyong

⠀⠀⠀wasn't in noirs predebut reality show was

⠀⠀⠀also a big part of that. through that show I

⠀⠀⠀learnt a lot about the other and

⠀⠀⠀since junyong wasn't there I couldn't learn

⠀⠀⠀as much about him. as soon as I started

⠀⠀⠀looking deeper into noir I found out how

⠀⠀⠀funny junyong is and hoe much of an

⠀⠀⠀interesting person he really is.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀gangsta era:

⠀⠀⠀we already know that I barely noticed

⠀⠀⠀junyong in the beginning so it shouldn't

⠀⠀⠀really surprise you if I said that I didn't

⠀⠀⠀notice him much the first couple of time I

⠀⠀⠀watched the music video. I only started

⠀⠀⠀noticing him when I started becoming

⠀⠀⠀more and more interested in him. junyong

⠀⠀⠀during the gangsta era was really

⠀⠀⠀something different. from simply the

⠀⠀⠀visuals in the music video to his vocals.

⠀⠀⠀maybe the music video isn't the best

⠀⠀⠀example to talk about while mentioning

⠀⠀⠀junyong but live stages are something that

⠀⠀⠀I could talk about for ages. those live

⠀⠀   stages show how much of a great vocalist

⠀⠀⠀junyong really is. that high note at the end

⠀⠀⠀of a song is something I could listen to for

⠀⠀⠀ages and not get tired of it. this boy has

⠀⠀⠀some great lungs and he showed it during

⠀⠀⠀every live stage. now let me move away

⠀⠀⠀from his angelic vocals and talk about his

⠀⠀⠀dancing. the gangsta choreography is quite

⠀⠀⠀powerful and so was junyong everytime he

⠀⠀⠀performed that song. watching him

⠀⠀⠀perform that song was captivating every

⠀⠀⠀time and honestly I can never get tired of it.

⠀⠀⠀I sometimes even rewatch some live

⠀⠀⠀stages because of that.

⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀airplane mode era:

⠀⠀⠀airplane mode welcomed us with

⠀⠀⠀something not complete but definitely a bit

⠀⠀⠀different. first of all junyong's hair was

⠀⠀⠀shorter during this era and I know this

⠀⠀⠀might be quite a weird thing to say first but

⠀⠀⠀it was also the first thing I noticed. second

⠀⠀⠀of all junyong's vocals were still great but

⠀⠀⠀he didn't get as many lines. he didn't get as

⠀⠀⠀much of an inapctful part as the one in

⠀⠀⠀gangsta at the end but there was

⠀⠀⠀something similar to it. something similar

⠀⠀⠀to adlibs and autotune. I didn't notice them

⠀⠀⠀at first and when I did I didn't even know it

⠀⠀⠀was junyong. I was lowkey sad he didn't

⠀⠀⠀get a part where he could fully showcase

⠀⠀⠀his vocals but that feeling of

⠀⠀⠀dissapointment was forgotten when

⠀⠀⠀satisfaction washed over me because of

⠀⠀⠀the choreography. it was as good, if not

⠀⠀⠀even better than, gangsta and junyong was

⠀⠀⠀owning the stage like he usually does.

⠀⠀⠀watching junyong perform that song was

⠀⠀⠀an amazing experience because I could

⠀⠀⠀see he was giving it his all.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀vocals:

⠀⠀⠀I already mentioned junyongs vocals but I

⠀⠀⠀feel the need to mention them again and

⠀⠀⠀cause junyong is, in fact, a great vocalist.

⠀⠀⠀his voice is one of those voices that I

⠀⠀⠀would never get tired of. there's this one ⠀⠀⠀cover he sang with siha that I will always

⠀⠀⠀ because it's that good. his voice

⠀⠀⠀was full of emotion while singing that song

⠀⠀⠀and I was captivated immediately as soon

⠀⠀⠀as I heard his voice. I swear one time when

⠀⠀⠀I was rewatching that video of them

⠀⠀⠀covering the song I even wanted to cry

⠀⠀⠀because it was so beautiful. everytime

⠀⠀⠀junyong would sing I could hear the

⠀⠀⠀ion and emotion in his voice and I find

⠀⠀⠀that as something really special.

⠀⠀⠀something I will hold onto for a long time. ⠀⠀⠀what I particularly like about junyong's

⠀⠀⠀vocals is how good they sound with more

⠀⠀⠀happier songs. yes, his vocals are still full

⠀⠀⠀of emotion but happy emotions that make

⠀⠀⠀me want to smile. also his voice sounds

⠀⠀⠀different while he sings those songs. at

⠀⠀⠀least to me it sounds a bit softer and

⠀⠀⠀slightly higher pitched and I love it. it's full

⠀⠀⠀of enthusiasm and it makes me want to

⠀⠀⠀smile. I find that quite special about him.

⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀dancing:

⠀⠀⠀the amount of charisma junyong emits

⠀⠀⠀while dancing might not be as good as in

⠀⠀⠀other idols but it's still quite amazing I

⠀⠀⠀must say. junyong is a vocalist so dancing

⠀⠀⠀isn't his forte but he's still really good at it.

⠀⠀⠀I've watched him during dance practices

⠀⠀⠀and he always emits a weird aura which I

⠀⠀⠀can't describe. maybe it's determination to

⠀⠀⠀get through a dance without making

⠀⠀⠀mistakes or maybe it's the ion since

⠀⠀⠀it's a part of his job. no matter what aura he

⠀⠀⠀emits its always satisfying to watch him

⠀⠀⠀dance and see him being in sync with all

⠀⠀⠀the other of noir.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀personality:

⠀⠀⠀junyong has quite an interesting

⠀⠀⠀personality. at first I didn't know what his

⠀⠀⠀personality was like because, like I said

⠀⠀⠀before, junyong wasn't in noirs predebut

⠀⠀⠀reality show which was my main source of

⠀⠀⠀information about each member of noir. I

⠀⠀⠀learned pretty much every

⠀⠀⠀personality from that show expect

⠀⠀⠀junyongs. I thought that junyong was quiet

⠀⠀⠀and quite normal and I will simply say that I

⠀⠀⠀was very wrong. junyong isn't quiet. he's

⠀⠀⠀more of the most talkative people I have

⠀⠀⠀ever seen and that's what makes him more

⠀⠀⠀interesting. also his nickname is the main

⠀⠀⠀comedian for a reason. junyong is a funny

⠀⠀⠀member even though he might not seem

⠀⠀⠀like it in the beginning. I would simply use

⠀⠀⠀a book as a metaphor to describe junyong.

⠀⠀⠀the more you read it the more you learn,

⠀⠀⠀the more it becomes interesting and the

⠀⠀⠀more you start falling in love with it.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀other:

⠀⠀⠀I was wondering if I should actually include

⠀⠀⠀this part in the blog but it seemed relevant.

⠀⠀⠀I appreciate this about him but I don't know

⠀⠀⠀if it's even a big thing to appreciate. the

⠀⠀⠀fact that junyong's old group disbanded

⠀⠀⠀and his dreams were ruined makes me

⠀⠀⠀really sad. just thinking about how

⠀⠀⠀dissapointed and sad he must've been

⠀⠀⠀back then really makes my heart hurt.

⠀⠀⠀however, it also lead me into appreciating

⠀⠀⠀something new in junyong. the fact that the

⠀⠀⠀didn't give up. didn't give up on pursuing

⠀⠀⠀his career as an idol. he carried on. he

⠀⠀⠀didn't just say "I guess this is it" and go and

⠀⠀⠀live a life like a normal person. no, junyong

⠀⠀⠀carried on, trained and waited until he got

⠀⠀⠀another opportunity. I find this as

⠀⠀⠀something I should look up to. something

⠀⠀⠀that tells me that when things don't work

⠀⠀⠀out you should keep on going. therefore it

⠀⠀⠀wouldn't be a surprise if I said that junyong

⠀⠀⠀is someone that I kind of look up to.

dear junyong,

how are you? I hope you're doing well and looking after yourself properly. you really mean a lot to me even if barely anyone knows about it. you're someone I look up to and even though you don't know about it it still makes you a special person. a special person with a lot of talent. your so amazing in so many different areas I find it kind of unbelievable sometimes. also your vocals remind me of one's an angel would have and I think that's exactly what you are. an angel. an angel that was sent down to earth to make everyone's lifes a bit happier and that makes you even more special. you have never failed to make me smile and that also makes you special. you, lee junyong are a special person to only me but also a lot of other lumieres out there and I hope you know that. once again I just want to say that I hope your doing well. we, lumieres, love you.
