Greetings UTA! This is your curation team, with a post representing UTA's big April event. Every so often, we try to host a community event, a competition or contest planned by our curators and leaders, of which any to take part in. It's a way of getting involved with the community and being able to be a part of something. For this month's event, we have something big planned! We call this event the Soul Olympics!

What are the Soul Olympics?

The Soul Olympics is an event based on the Olympic games. Every has the opportunity to a team and participate to win. There are seven teams, each led by a member of the curation team, representing a soul trait in Undertale. Team Determination is a ive, judging team. The rest are all competitors of this challenge, and will compete head to head in a month long event. Whatever team you choose, excluding Team Determination, you all have the same task: gain the most points. Now, how do you earn points?

The Point System

-In this event, there are two types of points you are able to receive for your team. We have normal points, and we have challenge points.

The team with the most challenge points is our official winner, and will gain access to our launch image and the app's side bar. A post will also be created, highlighting moments from the team, and featured at the top of the front page till it has gained 3000 likes. The most active team, however, will receive access to the app's top bar, and a highlight post will be on top of front page till it gets 2000 likes.

What are these points exactly?

-Challenge Points are earned from completing a weekly prompt from Team Determination. Each week, Team Determination will come up with a mini challenge for the teams. Any can participate in these challenges. Once the mini event is over, your Team Captain will hand select their favorite entry and submit it to the judges. All in all, there will be one post per team submitted to Team Determination. Team Determination will then unbiasedly judge each submission on a scale of 1-10. Of the six entries submitted by the team captains, the submission Team Determination chooses as the the best will be featured on the top of the Front Page for 48 hours (another 24 hours if it has been featured before). This process will be used for each challenge.

-Not everyone will want to participate, or be able to participate in the weekly events, and that's fine! Our second point type are known as normal points. These are gained by posting relevant content for your team! Whatever you choose to create does not have to coincide with the mini challenges. As long as you're posting content that revolves around your team soul, you're gaining your team normal points! Featuring also plays a big role with these points, as well. A featured post gains your team five points, while a post that doesn't get featured is worth one point.

-Once everything is tallied up, there would be two winners. The "Most Active Team," or the team with the most normal points, and the "Winner of Challenges," or the team who won the most challenges.

**When posting content for your team, be sure to add it's official hashtag, so it will be included when tallying! You can learn about team hashtags in the section, "how to a team."

Basic Team Rules

-No harassment of any kind between teams

*If this rule is not followed, the team accused of harassment will be disqualified.

-No plagiarism

-You are able to leave your team at anytime, but you are not able to re it, nor a different team. We advise that you choose your team wisely.

-Be responsible, and steer clear from drama

-Respect the other teams, your teammates, and yourselves

-Have a good time. This event is just a friendly competition; it's for fun! Be sure to enjoy yourselves! :)

-The team you choose should be based on whatever soul trait you think best fits your personality. Please try not to a team for a reason such as "my friend is on that team." Take advantage of your opportunities.
