Today I decided to do this post because I know the feeling of needing too much material to do my BuJo so I thought it would be nice to show that, with few material, you can do a lot of wonder!

You'll need:

                         • A BuJo

                         • A Pencil

                         • An Eraser

                         • A Black Pen

                         • A Coloured Pen

                         • A Maker the same colour          

                            as the Coloured Pen        

That's All!

For me, this is the basic Minimalist and "Monochromatic" for a BuJo.You don't need to start with the expensive materials to make it look good. You just need to think of the type of stationary you'll need.

Most of the hole material I have was bought in libraries of the shopping mall(they sell a lot of stationary), but most was limited to 3 brands. Now, they're selling based more on the type of the material then the brand:

           » Faber-Castell H pencil.

               (But you can use any type of H pencil)

           » Faber-Castell Pastel Fine Pen 0.4

              (Any Pastel Fine Pen 0.4 can be used)

           » Uniball Black Pin Fine line 0.05

              (All you need is a Black Fine pen 0.05)

           » Stabilo Boss Pastel Marker

              (Just a Pastel Marker will do the job)

           » Faber-Castell Dust Free Eraser

              (I recommend the brand in that one but

               all dust free are smoother in the paper)

My BuJo is a Dot Grid type and I love it! Because it's easier to see the space you'll use and if it'll will look nice!

But having a Dot Grid type is necessary?

Not! I think the common Grid type have the same aesthetic appeal as the Dot Grid one. But if you plan to make a simple notebook as your BuJo, the Lined one will be as amazing as the others and with a bonus: If you don't have a notion of space (just like me haha) you'll be able to write more things than you originally planned.

But what about the one in the Ice Breaker Challenge? Is completely blank!

Yep,But I love drawing hahaha! So I accept the challenge of doing it without needing any "guidance". For every day use, it's not as practical as the other ones so I basically don't use it. Sometimes I do a Tracker or a positive message but for a Every day thing I would only choose it if I was a VERY organized person and used with Bullet Journaling.

And that's not my case.

it's Very difficult sometimes to know if you should buy a product that's cheaper or more expensive while shopping. So I'll give 2 tips for helping you out.

1› Look for a similar that's cheaper but of a good brand as well.

Here's my favourite example of it!

The Koi :tm: , the Faber-Castell and Cis have the same type of brush but the first ones are expensive. And the Cis one have a dual type of brush!

Based on reais(Brazilian money), the Koi one costs 18 reais, the Faber-Castell costs 12 reais and Cis costs 8 reais. The difference is big for a product with almost the same quality so is a big tip!

2› Look for a similar type of material that'll work the same way.

Here's two types of Uniball white pen and a liquid paper.

Here's the results after a very quick test.

         » Uniball Posca : >20 reais

         » Uniball Signo : 12 reais

         » Liquid Paper : 1.56 cents

It won't work all the time but if you can use a different one, go for it!
