Hey guys! Gabi here, and today I present another one-shot fanfic! If you couldn't tell by the thumbnail, this is basically about Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf having different Triforce pieces.
Enjoy!

"You're a very skilled fighter, Ganondorf" Link said. "If Zelda ever does return, I'm sure you can take her down in a heartbeat!"
Ganondorf continued practicing, swinging the Master Sword as if there was an enemy in front of him. He had been practicing his sword skills since he was 5 years old, and now there have been rumors that the Demon Queen Zelda was planning on taking over Hyrule. If that is indeed true, he needs to practice more. After all, he was recently chosen as Link's appointed knight. He and Link have been friends since they were young children, and now he gets to be alongside him as his knight.
.....The scene fades from his mind, into another scene............

"Walk with me" Link said, leading Ganondorf down a narrow hallway. "See those pictures on the walls? Those are previous knights of Hyrule. Knights who have fulfilled their duty. I believe you will be on this wall someday, Ganondorf" Link said. Ganondorf stood there, staring at the different images. They walked and walked.
"Are you ready?" Link asked.
"Ready for what?" Ganondorf asked.
"The battle with Zelda. I can tell you're nervous. But I believe you will do just fine. I'll be right beside you the whole time" Link said, laying a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Now, let's go practice some more. Your time for being on the Wall of Knights is growing near" Link said, with a smile on his face.
.......The scene fades from his mind, into another scene....a scene of the present......

Ganondorf opened his eyes, and saw the door. When he opened this door, he would be greeted by the Demon Queen herself. A pang of nervousness went down his body. But the time has come. Like Link had told him last week, it's his turn to be on the Wall of Knights. He will not fail.
Ganondorf walked through the doors, and was greeted by Zelda. The battle had begun. He slashed Zelda with the Master Sword, outsmarting her attack patterns. Until Zelda caught on, and thought of new ones. All of a sudden, Ganondorf saw a light arrow shoot out of nowhere, but Zelda blocked it. Ganondorf looked behind him, and saw Link.
"Ganondorf! We need to outsmart her again! I will shoot a light arrow to distract her, and you'll go in for an attack!" Link shouted. Ganondorf understood. They did exactly that. As Link shot a light arrow, Zelda got distracted, and Ganondorf went in for an attack. They repeated that a few times, until Zelda caught on.
"Okay, we need to outsmart her once more. I will shoot a light arrow at your shield, and you need to aim your shield at her so it will deflect at her. Then, attack!" Link said. They did that, and it worked. Soon, Ganondorf went in for the final blow, and ended the battle. It was finally over.
The doors in front of them opened, and they saw the three golden triangles. The Triforce.

"Go ahead, Ganondorf. It’s yours. The Triforce. You earned it. Make a wish..."

This is so weird but I love it
This is very well written, certainly, but it's a concept I've seen several times before. Well done, though!
Thanks! And yea, I'm probably not the first one to do this

Perhaps the reversal could be executed differently. Each character retains their role in the story, but they have different virtues, leading to differences in the execution of the classic Zelda plot formula.
Wait, I should write that...

Oof you should
I haven't thought of the idea of role changing, it's pretty cool actually! You did a nice job with the writing I like it!
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!:)
