THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF FLAGGING

Hello!

So ever since I've been a leader I have seen a lot of people flagging things incorrectly.

This means either flagging something that isn't against guidelines, or not flagging this properly.

Let me show you a few examples!

So, we see a flagged profile. We check it out. Nothing seems wrong. Let's see if the member said anything?

Hm...

Sadly the moderation team can't read your minds or see everything. If you flag someone profile without it being insanely obvious as to why it's wrong, we can't do anything since we don't know what they did!

If you flag a profile like this then we will probably message you asking for more details! We need to know what you mean by bullying.

Now,what kind of things should I flag?

Anything against guidelines

Porn

Trolls

Gore

People who are very much bullying (example "go kill yourself you fucking faggot no one loves you")

People who are claiming anyone else's art as their own

What not to flag

Swearing

Small insults (example "i don't like you lol")

Posts that don't break guidelines

Mom what if someone says something bad to me in pm?

Well since it's a private message we won't be able to click on their profile, or view the rest if the chat. The best thing you can do in that scenario is message one of us with screenshots and a link to an

Before you flag or message us please to screenshot everything! Even if we don't need it,it's good to have proof just in case we do wind up asking for it

Flagging a fake amino profile? All you have to do is flag their profile. We know what's wrong. Don't worry

If your flag isn't dealt with then don't worry. That means your flag either wasn't something that was a big deal, or, we haven't seen it yet. If it's urgent then one of us.

I'll be honest. I see a lot of people flagging stupid things,like not agreeing with an opinion,flagging someone for saying something like "otp!" Or even flagging a post because they don't like a ship.
